If any Roblox Devs are listening, Please add custom key binds. Not everyone uses the default QWERTY layout. I use the Colemak layout, (Search Colemak on Google)
It would make it easier for us to not switch back and forth between keyboard layouts and allow us to customize the controls to our benefits (:

You are right, lets say I want to use the "B" key for "W" to move... Moving would both trigger the script and movement?
This could be solved through special set of keys that could be assigned to scripts and only scripts.. Similar to F1-F10 on your computer.
It could perhaps be named as Special keys in the settings [S1, S2, S3], and I could set it to whatever I want and the scripts would go along with it.
This would mean the programming would change and instead of specifying the key in the code, you would specify the Special Key #.
Sounds more complex, but it would be really helpful for non-qwerty users. |
