| I have a feeling I'll like MGS V more, as I'm not the biggest fan of the Fallout series, but then again I haven't even played a Metal Gear ever. |

| I never was a big fan of Fallout either, but Fallout 4 made it my second favorite franchise of all time. Get Fallout 4. You are going to regret not getting it instead. |

| The issues that plague it are FPS drops on consoles in the main are of Boston. However in most cases it's just brief and doesn't affect much. The gameplay is 10/10, story I think is 8/10, sound is 10/10, stuff to do 10/10. |

never had an fps drop in boston, had one on the very top of the corvega assembly plant while on fire and shooting and even then it wasnt bad.
also out of a 23 hour playthrough, only crashed once.
i cant even say that about skyrim or the other fallout games (espescially 3) which crashed every 3-4 hours. |

A problem is I don't know how my computer will be able to handle Fallout 4, as my computer in some respects doesn't even reach the minimum requirements. I know (according to the system requirements) my computer can run MGS V, and people say you can even play it under the system requirements.
Here are the minimum system requirements:
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required) Processor: Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent Hard Drive: 30 GB available space
Here are the recommended:
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required) Processor: Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz/AMD FX-9590 4.7 GHz or equivalent Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 290X 4GB or equivalent Hard Drive: 30 GB available space
Here are mine: OS: Windows 10 Processor: Intel Core i5 2320 @3.00GHz (slightly better than minimum requirements, significantly worse than reccomended) Memory: 6 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 760 2GB (considerably better than minimum requirements, slightly worse than recommended) Hard Drive: Not an issue, 1 TB is free. |

| I have 64 hours logged. You having only 24, have no idea what you're in for in some parts of the city. I was just like you around the first day or so, but later I saw what people were complaining about. Crashed once, that's it but the FPS can get ridiculous at some parts. Doesn't last long though. |

| Fallout 4 is kind of mediocre on top of being really buggy. The typical Bethesda game, really. It balanced VATS pretty well but melee weapons are pretty unviable and guns/ammo are everywhere. |

If you enjoy NV or Fo3 I would advise not getting 4. -speech system replaced with a mass effect system speech system -skill tree completely ripped and replaced with perks that make your guy OP after 5 levels - can't be the bad guy. I tried to kill everyone. Couldn't kill Preston. - in 2 hours I became a general of the minutemen and jacked BOS of all it's resources after helping them clear a research facility. |

"If you enjoy NV or Fo3 I would advise not getting 4." why not its great.
"-speech system replaced with a mass effect system speech system"
yeah it sucks but oh well, wait for a mod to replace it lol.
"-skill tree completely ripped and replaced with perks that make your guy OP after 5 levels"
not really, i upgraded endurance to 7 and got the second perk after it and i still get screwed up by raiders lmao. besides not like the old skills and perks in nv/fallout didnt make you op, you know adding 50 or more hp/damage resistance against limb damage?
"- can't be the bad guy. I tried to kill everyone. Couldn't kill Preston."
because he's a companion/quest character idjit, it uses the same engine as skyrim so you should've saw this coming.
"- in 2 hours I became a general of the minutemen and jacked BOS of all it's resources after helping them clear a research facility."
uh, okay? i mean the minutemen was pretty much nonexistent when you start the game so why not, and yeah the bos thing was weird because now they're like an awkward mix of old bos and fo3 bos.
which imo the bos in fo3 was weird because i was literally the most evil person to walk the earth and then suddenly they're like "hey join us ur a good guy1" |

Dad, mods can't fix the dialog unless you want no voice acting on either end of the conversation, as if there were more choices, there would need to be new voice actors.

Oh and you can join good guys even if you're a bad guy because it's a bethesda game. If you played Skyrim this crap is asinine.
Morrowind didn't have this problem and NV didn't have this problem because Obsidian made it. |

| MGSV is really disappointing. Half of the game is the same missions you did in the chapter before, and there's ONE boss battle. There were supposed to be more chapters and the story is really bad. FO4 on the other hand... |

| @fleet Late reply, but many areas around Good neighbor over in the east. Again, I'm talking about consoles, not PC. If you're playing on PC you probably don't have issues. In some areas around goodneighbor the lag sometimes drops to like 15fps because of either the amount of enemies or the amount of polygons and shapes in the area. |

I'd HIGHLY recommend MGSV over Fallout 4.
There's just something wrong with Fallout 4 that doesn't give it the same Skyrimy feeling that Skyrim and Fallout 3 had.
I can't pinpoint it - but it's just wrong.
MGSV will really hit you hard emotionally and bring to life this world of military struggle and desperation in time of need - it really feels real and you just do not want to put the controller down.
Actually, I played my copy on PC which has slightly better graphics than Xbone, it's a port from Xbone and the only changes are in the post processing, but this breaks input for the mouse acting as the thumb stick things.
I'd HIGHLY recommend MGSV, and if you don't mind not being able to use Items, get it on PC for the slightly better graphics and mod "support".
And of course you'll want to mod your game's save when that one thing happens.
downside to PC though is that we get everything 1 week - 3 months late |
