[1] Preface This will be the Official Business Policy for my Administration to last from now until it is repealed by a future Mayor of myself. This Policy will dictate the proceedings of all current and future businesses within Norfolk and may be updated in the future.
[2] Basic Business Requirements
These will be the basic business requirements to have your business become official within Norfolk. You will need all the following :
1 -- You will need to have a minimum of 20 members in your business for it to be considered official.
2 -- You need to have an active employee base to keep your business active around Norfolk.
3 -- Buisness Owners will have to follow all things requested by Economic Development director to ensure their activity going strong.
4 -- You will need to have a developed place along with all the scripts needed for your business to function within the city.
“Only send an application to become an official business to business managers”.
[3] Allying/Joining the Department of Economic Development
All official Norfolk businesses are REQUIRED to be allied to the Department of Economic Development. Before a business can even be allied to NCDED, they >MUST< meet the Basic Business Requirements outlined in Section 2.
Once your business has become official, and has met all the requirements as stated above the business owner must join the Department of Economic Development to keep them updated with any new business policies we may change. This is an ABSOLUTE requirement for your business to run smoothly within the City of Norfolk.
[4] Advertising your business within Norfolk
An OFFICIAL business MAY advertise their businesses on the Nofolk wall but will only be limited to ONE post per page, (if multiple people post the same business post on one page it will be deleted). Spamming your business advertisement can result in your business being removed from Norfolk. (DO NOT SPAM)
If you are approved by the NCDED but not yet an official business of Norfolk, due to lacking the member requirement you may advertise on the wall to get to 20 members. (ONLY IF APPROVED BY THE NCDED BEFORE HAND).
[5] Disclaimer to all Norfolk Businesses
The NCDED Director and/or The Mayor of Norfolk reserves the right to remove the allied business from Norfolk if you breach any of the rules, fail to adhere to instructions given to you to NCDED and any other reason provided it is valid.
