@crawfly
black and white had underhwhelming pokemon designs but made up for it in the storyline which was definitely one of the best in the series |

i remember in hg that you get an eevee and then theres a daycare center, but right beside it you can catch ditto which made it obvious that
eevee>ditto= 2 eevees

soulsilver was my first ds pokemon game and it was awesome
i enjoyed every bit, what was even more cool was that there was 16 gyms instead of 8 and your pokemon actually follow you
also the pokegear thing that came with the game that ou put on your belt or something and the more you run in real life the more xp your pokemon got
i used to just shake it to get xp
i picked soulsilver over heart gold since Lugia> ho-oh |

"horrible storyline" Gen one had no plot practically, I know Y had the weakest story to tell, but it was better then almost none at all. (Still sucked though,the pacing and execution was sloppy and rushed.)
"horrible antagonist" Horrible villain team?Yes. But Lysandre was a decent villain in my opinion. Ghetsis is still the best one so far.
"horrible protagonist" Yeah, because the other mute protagonists were clearly better at being, mute? What are you complaining about exactly, all the main protagonists in pokemon are the same.
"horrible pokemon" How were these pokemon horrible? In fact, this is probably one of the more solid cast of monsters the series has. Goodra, the starters, Pyroar, Malamar, Dragalge, Aegislash, actually, there aren't that many bad designs. Except the spitzee line, they don't seem, correct.
Gen 6 isn't horrible, I will admit though, they could have done way better with it. White was a way better game in my opinion. And heartgold was also a better game. And sapphire was a better game. But honestly, placing it under gen 1 is just wrong. That's just me though.

| I had everything completed (Level 100 and all) on Gold for my Gameboy color. The cartridge's save battery died and lost everything. I replaced eh battery and can start up again. |

Man that sucks, sapphires got a battery to, but it doesn't prevent you from saving, or starting the game, I can't imagine just losing all that to some dead battery. |

@d4rk
i only placed it as the worst pokemon game that i have played, i never actually played gen 1 so i cant really judge it
i interested in playing it though, just for the fun
also i think they did a horrible job with the pokemon, a lot of them just seem to look really strange, also whenever a pokemon game has starter pokemon that i all dislike, its a massive turn off for me especially if their final evolutions just makes it even worst
the fire fox one actually looked decent and the 2nd evo for it had thinking that it is the starter pokemon that i am definitely choosing but once i saw the last form i just changed my mind, its like it was a massive troll or something
i hated that chipmunk looking one and that frog that wears its tongue as a scarf, that's just nasty
also the reason i am saying this is because im not a pro pokemon player i dont really care about the stats unless i am actually playing against a friend, besides that i want to see the pokemon that i am playing with to look atleast half decent |

@flames I never judge a gen on its competitive aspect, otherwise every gen would be better then the other. And at a technical view, that's also true. But I really love most of the new pokemon, they seem unique and interesting unlike, Gen 4 where I never really remember them. Evolutions like magmortar don't count though, although rhypherior ruined rhydon. Lickylicky is just dumber. Tangrowth is awkward I hate Gliscor with a burning passion. Probopass,not sure why I like stunfisk and dunsparce, but not this. Mamoswine looks awful. And I could never like froslass for some reason. So even if I don't count evolutions, half of them suck anyway. The only gen 4 ones I like are Floatzel, Empoleon, Torterra, Staraptor, Luxray, Skuntank, Chatot, Lucario, Azelf, Giratina, And Shaymin-Sky.
I just don't know, I mean while I could say gen 6 has the best cast, it doesn't because it only has 72 pokemon. I blame the idiots who complain about "Ermehgurd itz 2 hard 2 kep trak of all de pokemanzzzzz" That's a stupid complaint. I think that actually stopped gen 6 from making more designs.
