Alright, so as ROBLOX is an American company with a largely American and European playerbase, I think it's safe to assume that those of you who follow a religion are Christians. In addition, after doing a poll on Bannanachair a few months ago with a sample size of 27 people (or about half the people here), it revealed that about a third of all people here are Christians, with about half being either Atheist or Agnostic. http://bannanachair.proboards.com/thread/688/religion is the poll, in case anyone was wondering.
Anyway, for those of you here who are Christians, I have a question - Which branch of Christianity? My money's on Latin Catholicism or Protestantism of some sort for the majority, but I'm legitimately curious. For the one out of twenty seven people here who are Muslim, which branch? Okay, that one's pretty just one of two options, but I'm still asking out of curiosity. For the one twenty-seventh of the population here who are Hindus, which branch of Hinduism do you practice? Also, happy late Deepavali for that one twenty-seventh of our community. And for the one twenty-seventh of our community who are adherents to the Sikhism faith, I honestly know nothing about Sikhism; I don't even know if there are different religious sects in the same way that other religions have different theological schools, and as such, I'll just leave it because I know nothing about it and don't want to offend anybody.

I'm an atheist, but I go to a private christian school. Most of them there are Seventh Day Adventist, so I understand the religion quite a bit. We even have the subject of religion on exams, not that it's hard anyway. *Hair flip*

This may seem like an admittedly stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway - Why do you go to a private Christian school if you're an atheist?

| Because my parents are Christian, I'm glad they don't go ballistic on me for being an Atheist. But I actually wanted to go to the school myself, it's a nice place to be with lots of respectful and nice people. |

Fair enough. Also, I may have said this earlier, but nice suit; it looks somewhat familiar.

| I'm still agnostic, but I think I might become a "Pure Land School" Buddhist. |

Theravada or Mahayana?

I think so. Lutheranism feels lax to me. |

If i had ANY religion, i would be Christian. But not a major Christian. I don't go to church or anything, although we have multiple churches in my town.

"Christian" is probably the most least descriptive term I've heard people describe themselves as.

This thread is asking specifically about Christian denominations. Examples include Catholic, Orthodox, Lutheran, Baptist, Anabaptist, Pentacost, Calvinist, Anglican and so forth.

In Northern and Southern Irealnd, being Protestant or Catholic is the only two branches of Christianity that matter. And while they are broad branches, unfortunately people in heavily protestant or Catholic areas tend to be very sectarian.
But I'm neither protestant or Catholic so it doesn't matter! |

By protestant I presume you mean Anglican?

Uh-huh.
Believe it or not, i'm not fully or exactly sure on what branch i would BE. It seems like there's a whole network of facts and/or opinions that i could follow or not, but either way i probably wouldn't get to know my branch.

Okay, here's an easy way to determine which branch you are:
1) Do you recognize the Pope as the head of the Church? 2) Do you recognize the authority of the autocephalous patriarchs?
If the answer to one of those is yes, you're either Catholic or Orthodox. If your answer to both is no, you're most likely protestant of some sort. I recommend doing some light reading on the major branches of protestantism if you fancy yourself protestant.

Well, as i already said, i don't go to church, so it may be hard to determine the answers to those questions.
But i'll definitely do research.
