| there are 3rd wrld countries that are fighting disease, terrorist attacks, starvation, and poverty. yet you choose to pray for a country that is a 1st world country that can defend itself, and not the countries that have more than hundreds of people die everyday from starvation or terrorists. Lets focus on 3rd world countries first, ok? |

| Considering most of them are still in the stone age I'm not surprised. |

| Because people are exposed to breaking news. Deaths in the Middle East have become so routine have fallen out of the news. People can't show concern for problems they aren't aware of. |

| You think you're a genius for figuring this out? We send support to third world countries every day. It is very rare for something like this to happen in France or any other 1st world countries. |

Because it's always happening. You can't say #PrayforThirdWorldCountries every second someone dies, can you? Besides, this is a day of mourning. 127 people were killed enjoying soccer, even some little kids. The main reason why we mourn is because, well, we should. So shut up.

but these countries arent fighting wars against terrorism
whats shocks most is that terrorists attacked a nation's capital.
imagine the grief people would have if Washington, D.C. was attacked. Beijing. London. Rome. Milan.
Just about any major city in a first world country.
Now imagine that happening in third world countries. Nairobi. Addis Ababa. Freetown. Johannesburg. Accra. Lome.
The effect wouldn't be as great because these cities are used to being under attack.
Paris isn't.
What happened in Paris could easily happen in any of these cities. It's a demonstration of power. |

Exactly. You people have questionable morals. Can we mourn victims of mass murder without criticism, please?

| I hope no one attends OP's funeral. Since, y'know, there will be other funerals being held on the same day, funerals for people who experienced more hardships. Just make sure you only attend funerals for people who deserve it, ok? |

| You may be correct but my main point is only rare happenings are worthy of making news about. Deaths in third world countries are so common we'd be praying all day. |

hahahahahaha we send support yes we do but not to all third world countries don't get me wrong, i'm not saying we should diss Paris, it's just that there are many, many other issues in the world. For example. Beirut, the bombing that took place two days before the Paris bombings and hardly anyone knows about it. Or the Baghdad crisis too. But once again, those two are Middle East areas. |

Its all about the money. The sad truth is, not many people actually 'care' about 3rd world country deaths unless it is catastrophic.
But when there is a mass shooting in Paris everyone wants to see it. And that gives the News companies the $$$$$$$$. To sum it all up corporatism. |

Maybe that's because this was really insensitive of you. Death is a universal human tragedy. |
