They all seem to attack the main quest ending
Most fallout players I know are more interested in the numerous non main quests in Bethesda games
I've never completed a Fallout game, I know the ending but I've never wanted to stop playing a character |

| the main quest endings have never really been AMAZING. they were never terrible, but they weren't huge either. the beauty of Fallout's story mainly resides in the side-quests than anything else. take this from someone who's beat each game many times over. |

@Dapper Exactly, if they put all the focus on the main quest line the replay ability would die on the spot
The thing I love about Bethesda games is that you'll never spot everything on your first run, it keeps you coming back for more and that's why I love them. |

that's why i have several thousand hours into 3 and NV, because there's always something new to experience. 1, 2, and T did this, but not to a HUGE extent like the new ones. |

| I hate to think how many hours I'll spend building a settlement in Fallout 4 even though I'm the only one looking at it |

| Meh, I'm the kind of person who plays games just to play them. I'll be a fan of most like fallout, but otherwise no. |

| Not to mention the game entirely will last weeks if not months or years before one can legitimately complete it. |

true that op
but we will be able to play after main story this time ;-)
which is odd, how is 'nuke boston' option supposed to work with playing after the main story?
maybe 'nuke boston' is the 'show me the ending narration' option |

@Cat Maybe there is an option not to nuke it?

no, the people who spam the ending say, spoilers (lol), kill your son who has become a robot or nuke boston
i think 'nuke' entails a full-size destroy the entire city type thing |

@Cat It's entirely possible they're not telling the whole story, after all they're trying their hardest to make you not buy Fallouf 4 for no reasons other than they don't like it.
If that is what happens I'm guessing there'll be a reason for it. |

well we can't really expect a fallout main quest line to be anything complicated
the side quests (which i assume there will be tons of) will be the real fun bits |

| Well, for a game Allegedly Good at Side Quests, I always found Skyrim boring. All of them: "go to this Burial Tomb and kill draugr", fetch quests and all. |
