1) Backstory
It is 2283 AD. The War was over, and there was peace in the Federation once more. The Fractured War was a bloody conflict that lasted for almost 3 years, only ended by the collapse of the Schism. Veterans of the conflict returned to their homes broken, with some continuing military service to cope.
AERIS Task Force-A01 was on a transport headed for Cesena-01, which sent out a mysterious signal. "...They are here... Crepitus... It's here!... Repent!... re..pen..t..." The moon had no Federation presence apart from simple mining colony, which went dark a few hours after the mysterious signal was detected. AERIS Task Force-A01 was ordered to investigate the signal and the status of the mining colony soon after.
The transports were set to arrive at the source of the signal, when suddenly a major EMP storm fried the system controls. Plummeting towards the lonely moon, the task force braced for impact, and possibly death. To their surprise, the task force didn’t die, but the transports were badly damaged. Their only hope of rescue is to reach the sole mining colony, where a radio-link may be achieved.
Will they survive? That is up to you.
2) Background
Fractured War: A 3-year long war that took place 10 years ago. The veterans of the conflict are still struggling to find their place in society.

The Federation: The federal government of the Sigma Sector. Sent out an AERIS task force to investigate a strange signal from Cesena-01. Its capital is Aurae City.
Cesena-01: One of the moons of the gas giant Cesena, where a small mining outpost was placed. The mining outpost went dark shortly after the strange signal was broadcast
3) Roles
AERIS Division:
The AERIS Division is a separate part of the Federation Military. Within the Federation, special mutations occurred as a result of several solar flares. These mutations allowed for special abilities to manifest within individuals.
The Federation quickly recruited these individuals for the AERIS Division, where they undertake the missions that most cannot. In addition to their powers, they posses the most advanced personal armor in the FAF, the HAVOK suit.
Sub-roles are also provided for additional specialization.
Equipment
HAVOK Exoskeletal Armor: Designed specifically for the AERIS Division -Enhanced speed -Enhanced strength -Enhance reaction speed -Up-to-date data through HUD -Enhanced mutant powers -Energy Shield (E-Shield): Hexagonal shaped shield projected from arms like traditional shields
Sub-role - Operative: The main fighting force of the Federation. Most infantry-troops are designated this role.
Equipment Type-4 AutoPistol, Long-range binoculars, Type-50 HoloRifles, Disintegration Grenade Combat suit
Sub-role - Specialist: Highly trained snipers and recon-units of the Federation Armed Forces. Selected from the FAF through rigorous tests and recommendations
Equipment Type-3 HoloPistol, GPS marker, Long-range communications radio (planetary only), Type-45 HoloSniper Handheld translator
Sub-role - Support Gunner: The backbone of the FAF. Tasked with supporting the main fighting force .
Equipment 200-round Type-40 Holo-MG, Type-12 Grenade Launcher, Mk.5 Mortar, Field medical kit.
Sub-role - Investigations Officer: A special scientist assigned for off-world investigations. Different scientists have different specialties.
Equipment Field scientific equipment Inflatable laboratory Expertise on different branches of science (archeology, paleontology, cultural anthropology, xenobiology, chemistry, etc.)
4) Enemies
The wildlife of Cesena-01 have evolved in a cutthroat world filled with hazards and creatures willing to end their lives in an instant. The rapid pace of evolution and the harsh conditions of the moon caused the wildlife to manifest in particularly deadly forms.
Energy Mantis: A 10 m long insectoid creature that resembles a praying mantis. Has glowing eye-stalks and a neon-green carapace. Hunts its prey with energy-shots from a gland near the mouth, which melts the afflicted prey into a nutrient-rich goo.
Infested Rat-Pack: A sentient multi-creature life form. First starting as an ordinary rodent colony, a special virus infects the matriarch, which transforms the colony into a single, sentient creature that manifests as a swarm of muscular, mutated rats. Can turn their prey into mere bones in seconds, if caught.
Brutish Pariah: Pure anger manifested into a physical form, the Brutish Pariah, or Brutes, live only to hunt and kill. Constantly looking for new prey, these bloodthirsty beasts use their extraordinary physical strength to beat their prey into a pulp. Resembling a lion with a fiery mane, demonized horns, and pure red, glowing eyes, the Brute strikes fear into any living creature.

Appearance: A man of average height, around 5ft 8. Not heavily muscular, but is fit. Dark brown hair, and dark brown irises. Wears the AERIS Division uniform, but wears a sweater-vest and jeans during off-duty.
Faction: Expedition Force Omega/AERIS Ability/Powers: Photonic manipulation. 1) Photon Stream: A long ray or rapid stream of photon-charged energy shots 2) Photon Shards: Photon crystals formed and fired towards enemy. Homes in and explodes on contact. 3) Photonic Shock: Fires off photon energy into the ground, creating a shockwave/earthquake effect.
Weakness: Any sufficient darkness will weaken Nathan significantly.
Appearance of Armor: A sharp V-shaped visor, along with sharp edges on the armor. Covered in stripes of blue, and has multiple battle scars on the surface. There are carvings on the right arm, counting the number of squad mates Nathan has lost during the Fractured War.
Role: AERIS/Operative
Custom Module/Holy Relic: Photon Sword Emitter: Attached to the forearms. Generates a blade of pure photons, which hardens to allow for great cutting power. Can be parried by a metal of enough strength.
Bio: Nathan was born in Aurae City, the capital of the Federation. He lived a normal life, and entered into the military after graduation secondary school. Discovered to have a mutation, from his mother’s side of the family, Nathan was drafted into the AERIS Division, where he would endure grueling hours of training. The AERIS Division treated him roughly, but gave him the skills and expertise that surpassed any normal soldier. Now a seasoned veteran of the Fractured War, Nathan had matured significantly from his early days as a soldier. His old team, Fireteam Nexus, still existed, although it lost one member to the War. Nathan continues to have nightmares about the war in Terrarum, and seeks to redeem his mistakes in losing a Fireteam member again.
Others/Extra: Nathan sometimes falls into a deep, trance-like state during sleep. Everytime he experiences it, a strange being appears to talk to him. Nathan doesn’t think much of it after. |

Appearance: A man of Japanese descent. Is about 5ft 7in in height. Has dark brown hair and a fair face. Fit build, with the usual garb of AERIS uniform. Can also be found wearing a buttoned shirt and khaki pants.
Ability/Powers: Dark Aura Projection 1) Shadow Weapon Generation: creates weapons out of Dark Aura (spears, swords, battle-axe) 2) Darkness Stream: a burst of pure Dark Aura energy. Can also send a wave of darkness. 3) Darkness Overload: Complete physical change into a Shadow Beast. Loses sanity and becomes animal like in battle. Can only last for 15 minutes, and loses memory upon reverting to normal state.
Weakness(s): Light will cause damage if exposed long enough. Can cause loss of sight for a few moments. Will deplete dark energies. Psychic Attacks: Has an unstable mind and a psychic attack could disable Daiki for a long time.
Appearance of Armor: Highlights of black patches all over the armor. Has a narrow, rectangular visor, with aesthetic horns on top of the helmet. Other colors include grey stripes and yellow circles.
Role: AERIS/Operative
Custom Module: Dark Matter Collector -Will actively seek for nearby dark energies and redirect them towards Daiki for use in combat. Aural projector -Allows Daiki to create extensive weapons using dark auras alone. Can overheat if used too frequently.
Bio: A veteran of the Fractured War, Daiki changed from the generally happy-go-lucky new soldier to the more mature and pained veteran of today. Originally recruited after the Schism Incident of 10 years ago, Daiki survived the carnage that was the Fractured War. His pride in the military went into shambles after seeing so many of his friends die, and now only serves in the Federation's AERIS Division to cope with the losses.

(yeah, this is a spin-off of the Fractured series, and also a lead in to my next major RP.)
(Redoing CS, kinda missed some points in converting my old character.)

Backstory In the year of 2270 AD, the Federation encountered a strange wormhole in the middle of the capital city, Aurae City. The Scientific Inquiry was sent to investigate, and discovered that the wormhole was connected to another universe. This sparked excitement among the scientific community, but caused worry for the Federation government. Suddenly, the attacks began. A huge army of fantastical creatures emerged from the wormhole. The creatures, such as orcs, goblins, dragons, and giants, devastated the city blocs. Soon after, a seemingly medieval army emerged, and began to occupy the area near the Schism. The Federation Armed Forces was notified, and the Army was called in to drive the invaders out. The battle was long and bloody, as the enemy forces apparently possessed magic as well. Even the AERIS Division was deployed, which proceeded to attack the enemy forces. Hours later, the invaders were finally driven back into the Schism, which still stood in the middle of Aurae City. The Federation decided to send an Expedition into the Schism, so that they could recon the area and prevent another attack. Months of preparation later, Expedition Force Omega was prepared, and was sent into the Schism. It would be the start of the Fractured War.
Factions
The Federation The Federation, officially named the Federation of the Sigma Sector, evolved from the early colonial governments set up by Earth. After the United Nations declared the Sigma Colonies independent, the colonists wrote a constitution for the creation of the Federation. Ever since then, the Federation has been a successful union of the various planets in the Sigma Sector. Several wars have been waged as a result of Separatists, but most of them have been put down.

Expedition Force Omega The armed exploration group organized by the Federation. Consists of the Marine 1st Battalion, AERIS Division, Mobile Armor Division, Expedition Inquiry Group, and Army Engineering Corps. Their mission objective is to explore the new world beyond the Schism, and send back reports on the inhabitants. If attacked, they have the authority to attack back. In addition, they are to establish a peaceful settlement for future expeditions.
Empire of Terrarum Founded by the 5 Legendary Kings: KaMando, NaMasta, DaIro, RaLapo, and MaKipu, the Empire is the strongest nation in the world of Terrarum. All other nations are tributaries, paying their tribute annually to appease the Empire. The Royal Family descends from the 5 Legendary Kings, and possess some of the strongest magic powers in the entire Empire. Currently ruled by the Nobles, after the invasion of the Empire. Although the Empire remained, the current Emperor Ekran is a mere puppet of the Nobles.
The Nobles A mysterious people from beyond the Forbidden Sea. At first, they appeared to be friendly towards the Empire, arriving on the Western Shore. Soon after, the main invasion force struck, and the Imperial Army was on the run. The Nobles possess the most powerful magic that Terrarum knows, and decimated any armed resistance the Empire threw at them. Subjugating the Empire, and expelling Emperor Eltas IV, the Nobles divided the land amongst themselves to rule. The Nobles are lead by the Noble Lords: a council of the most powerful of Nobles.
DaIro Corps An elite division of the Imperial Army. the DaIro Corps is consisted of Nobles only. The Corps is the personal hit squad of the Noble Lords, conducting personal hit missions to keep the pheasants in check. In addition, they are used to spy on the Loyalists, the remaining soldiers under Eltas IV, and attack them regularly.
The DaIro Corps is given the strongest enchanted armor of the Nobles:

Loyalists Followers of the deposed King Eltas IV, they continue to serve the King. Despite being heavily outnumbered, the Loyalists continue to rebel against the Lords, mostly through small raids on outposts. Once part of the elite King’s Guard, these soldiers are still a force to be reckoned with. While not possessing magic on the level of Nobles, the Loyalist Mages are one of the most powerful human mages in all of Terrarum.
Roles (Federation/Terrarum)
Specialist/Huntsman Highly trained scouts. Carries minimal equipment to facilitate easier movement. - Specialists are known to carry a small Type-3 HoloPistol, GPS marker, long-range communications radio, Type-45 HoloSniper, and a handheld translator. - Huntsmen are known to carry a small magic-infused dagger that enables the use of low level spells, an enchanted bow, a map of the target area, a horse for transport, and a guide depending on the mission.
Operative/Knights Best known for their offensive power. Carries the most damaging weapons and can be found on the front lines. - Operatives are known to carry a Type-4 AutoPistol, long-range binoculars, Type-50 HoloRifles, Disintegration Grenade Mk2, and a combat suit. - Knights are known to carry a magic-infused longsword that enables the use of medium level spells, a dagger for close quarters, a full suit of armor, and potions for healing.
Support Gunner/Battle Mage The backbone of the fighting force. Provides support to the fighting forces. Heavily armored to continue providing support. - Support Gunner: 200-round Type-40 Holo-MG, Type-12 Grenade Launcher, Mk.5 Mortar, and field medical kit. - Mage: Staff: used for high level magic. Summoner: Can summon a horde of minions (goblins, ogres, etc.) under the summoner’s command. Mana potion: to recharge mana. Health potion: Used for healing allies and self
Spells (Exclusive to Terrarum)
Casting limits: Low-level - 10 spells before 1 hour cooldown Medium-level - 20 spells before 1.5 hour cooldown High-Level - 40 spells before 3 hour cooldown.
A level higher can use spells of lower levels as well
Low-level spells (Huntsman) 1) Minimize : cloaks the presence of the user for about 10 minutes 2) Blink : teleports the user 10 meters away. no wind up 3) Facade: Disguises the user for a short time (20 minutes) 4) Absorption of Mana: Replenishes energy when weakened. Can only be used twice a day. 5) Scorn of Magic: deploys a anti-magic barrier (10 minutes). Used for escape
Medium-level spells (Knight) 1) Meteor: fires a flaming ball of fire. explosive on contact or timed. can be guided 2) Spellshield: Counter magic. Creates a shield that negates magical attacks (1 second) 3) Warp: Switches places with a friend during combat (1 second) 4) Wave of Rejuvination: Heals nearby allies. Not as effective as Mage-Magic. (2 seconds) 5) Electric Charge: fires off a barrage of lightning bolts against enemies. lightning can be passed through enemies as well (3 seconds)
High-level spells (Battle Mage) 1) Elemental Hail: fires off a barrage of fire-infused hail upon the enemy. effective against enemy formations. 2) Deception: confuses targeted group of enemies. makes them think that each other is enemy 3) Sunfire Orb: launches off a gigantic energy blast. (1 minute wind up) 4) Flame Flux: Summons 30 demon soldiers. attacks targeted target first, before attacking other enemies. can only be used once per day 5) Replenish: heals and replenishes strength to nearby allies. up to 50 people can be targeted at once. (10 second wind-up)

Nobles: The Noble Lord Regalus will order the DaIro Corps to take care of the portal business. Prepare for the first fight.

When the Hole Incident happened, Nathan and his Squad, Nexus Fireteam, was sent to defend the capital. The battle was brutal, and many of his squadmates fell in combat. Volunteering to be part of the Expedition, Nathan vowed revenge on the people who were responsible for his squadmates’ deaths.

She also has blue eyes and is scarred on her upper back. Faction:federation specialist Weakness(s): dosent work well in a group. Short and weak Role:Specialist Bio: Aleya was born into a harsh existence, living on earth with little to nothing to eat. She was made weak due to her mothers frailty but was born with a strong mind and a nimble pace. She was made into an athlete when she was caught by her superiors Running home. Impressed with her talents the althetic director pit her forcibly into a track squad. Later did she realize that she not only liked the thought of running but exelled she was scouted by the military at a young age. After boot she was placed into the specialist program.
