I was suggesting a story like a mix of "Life After People" and "Scorch: The Maze Trials."
So, I was thinking that maybe there was a couple of people that woke up after a huge earthquake, and their huge city was deserted. There was a bunch of weeds growing over all everywhere; and there were buildings collapsing and stuff. Disasters are more dangerous and vulnerable.
If you have any ideas on how to improve it, tell me. |

| You'd have to describe how it happened, why it happened, and what happened. And where would this group even go from there? |

Well, there was such a huge rupture in the Earths crust, that it messed up the world in some ways; it destroyed the world, because of an unknown phenomenon to come every 200 million years, in order to split continents. It happened because of plate tectonics, and some human activity.
The group would be able to find food and several working things. Only a few buildings, around 20-30 are still standing. Some have been swallowed up by huge sandstorms, or floods. They have lots of animals running loose, and in a couple thousand years they evolve, which the humans won't be alive by then.
They would go somewhere and eventually find maybe an underground parking garage that was closed off; and maybe find 2-3 working cars, that's about it. Probably sounds unrealistic, but ok. |

No offense, but that's stupid. Just call it a magnitude 10 earthquake and be done with it, will ya?

I know, that's why I said it sounded unrealistic.
It's a magnitude 10 earthquake that splits the continents around the world once more. .-. |

I meant that the stuff about it being an unknown phenomena was stupid; people know lots of things about earthquakes. In fact, it's likely that humans could create an earthquake with modern technology if we tried hard enough.

Oh, I wouldn't have posted it publicly like that. There are lots of people who'd just destroy everything nowadays or turn everything into an argument. This place isn't as civilized as it was in '13.
