| Your flagship leaves the dock, making sure everyone is onboard. (Including Insid, even though his cs isnt done). There are a few stars and asteroids nearby, and you can barely make out the planet Forbia. |

(K, now that insid and levian are accepted, we can begin.)
Onboard the Devil's Advocate, the pirate leader Jared Ilbar could observe the universe. Stars and planets and galaxies, filled with ships... all for his taking. His six ships, plus the 280 smaller craft they carried, were going to be the most feared group of pirates around. Eventually, because right now they had everyone's personal wealth piled together and all the ships they could steal from lightly guarded repair yards. He had two lieutenants, Joshua Crawley in command of the Doom Herald, and Exeon Walker in command of the Black Hole, and three other captains in command of the Forge Fire, World's Edge, and Death's Bounty.
It was time to begin. Checking the time, he looked out. They were almost here, a tiny merchant convoy coming to Forbia. Not much, but enough to begin the spread of rumors, if he destroyed or crippled most of the ships and took whatever cargo he could. |

Crawley paces at the bridge of the Doom Herald with unbridled excitement, a feeling that he instills into his crew as he waits for Ilbar's orders. There was no way they wouldn't go after the convoy.

Exeon was one of the highest members in the crew. He joined the crew so that he can gain money to start an expedition to find Earth or whatever was left of it, a dream his deceased mother had before him.
That was enough thinking about the past Exeon decided. Focusing on the merchant ship, that had no idea what was coming, he coldly messaged his boss, the captain.
"Captain, the Black Hole is ready to attack. Your orders, sir?" |

Two small merchant freighters, three light frigates as an escort. Not a problem compared to the relatively massive ships in his fleet, Jared thought. "Engage." He said, and bringing up the holomap in his command center, began giving individual orders to each ship. "Doom Herald, get their attention. Blow the engines off the freighters. Black Hole and Forge Fire, handle their escort. World's Edge, provide support to the other ships. Death's Bounty, watch for any surprises they may have coming our way, and contribute to disabling the freighters where possible. We launch Daggers when close."
Giving orders to the Helmsman, the Devil's Advocate started accelerating forwards, gravity dampeners giving the illusion of no movement at all, towards the tiny merchant group. |

Exeon shouted to the crew.
"Black hole, advance! We're engaging! Start with a continuous barrage of a wide volley, long range torpedo fire when in range, switch to main cannons!"
The crew did as Exeon commanded, as most of the crew were professional mercenaries hired by the captain. They may have been penny pinchers, like Exeon, but they were ruthlessly effective.

Crawley laughs uproariously, turning to the bridge crew. "Helmsman, AHEAD!"
The Dooms Herald launched forward, its small size and powerful engines placing it well ahead of the fleet in short order. As soon as it was in range two salvos of missiles are launched in quick succession, one are decoys, loaded top heavy with jamming equipment and spiraling around the frigates, the second are stealthed, bearing down silently on the freighter engines.

| The small convoy attempted to turn around, before it was hit by a whole barrage of gunfire. The ship's members hopelessly slid out of the cracked in half ship, leaving a whole bunch of loot. |

| Observing the quick destruction of the tiny convoy, Jared was pleased. Any survivors and nearby ships observing would quickly spread the news about the destruction of the convoy, weak as it was. "Launch Terrorizors to recover the cargo. Doom Herald, you're in charge of coordinating them and, as always, get first pick of the loot, followed by Black Hole." He said, watching as the Terrorizor drones launched out and away from his ship, ready to recover cargo pods which would then be loaded onto the World's Edge until it could be sold or put in more dedicated storage. |

The Doom Herald depowers its engines, The inertial dampeners causing it to slowly drift among the wreckage where its sensors, the best in the fleet, sifted through the debris, analyzing anything of use and directing drones to retrieve said loot.

Exeon simply responded with.
"Yes, sir."
Before turning off the comm-link.
He leaned back on his chair, ignoring the excited chatter among the crew.
"Well, you heard the man!" Exeon said to the crew.
"Aye!" a lively response came back from the crew. |
