Hi, I've recently started working on a absolutely massive building project for a game that me and the rest of Bauen Studios will be working on for many months.
It's a game based on 3 islands off the east coast of the US.
The game will revolve around racing cars, driving buses, trucks and taxis, and piloting planes.
We're looking to make something innovative, and we're going to start with making an absolutely massive map with as little lag possible.
For the past few days, I've been drawing maps on paper and scanning them into my computer. I'm just trying to find the best road layout possible.
Here it is: http://www.roblox.com/Transit-2100-Map-v2-item?id=316952713
Suggestions? Ideas? What do you guys think? |

I'm glad that people like it.
I'm trying to find the most logical layout possible, and I've been using road layouts that I've seen in the real world as an inspiration.
Though I can't find the perfect island shape. It looks a little derp, but I guess I can live with it.
I can't wait until this project is done. I think it'll look awesome.
Also, I forgot to mention, the game takes place in the 2100s. The game will feature epic building architecture.
Here are two buildings I quickly built to show the developers in Bauen Studios (you dont have to join the game, you can see everything in the thumbnail): http://www.roblox.com/games/317749447/Transit-2100-Concept-Architecture |

Yeah. It'll be pretty futuristic.
Here is the street lamp that I will be using: http://www.roblox.com/Street-Lamp-2-item?id=317559706 |

Something positive about futuristic is that everything is easily made, the hard part is that you have to design it first. When I see the street lamp, I totally see it's futuristic

Yeah. One thing that I have to deal with is performance. I know this game will have lag issues, so I'll have to spend a while to make the game perform better.
If you want, I'll send you a link to the game that I've made so far. |

| You should try to have stunning views at some places. Like a road following a canyon. Long ago I started (and never finished) a huge place for a car game. I can re-activate it to give you ideas. |
