If it's your first time playing Devil Beater: First era, chances are you're one of those 7/10 people who had no idea what was going on and constantly kept dying where it got to the point of just giving up completely and forgetting about the game. Never remembering it again and allowing it to fade away into the dark depths. Well that is why I'm making this short guild today to provide a little more information on what exactly it is that you have to do and how the general stuff work.

>SO WHAT EXACTLY IS THIS?! WHY I AM I HERE?!!111<
The game Devil Beater is a boss fighting game with a plot! Acts are the chapters of the story. You start with Act 1 and move on to higher Acts, and so fourth. The higher the act, the more difficult the boss will be. Bosses follow a fairly simple code. They target the closet player near them and either shoots or melee you. If you're playing with a character with high health, it's best to be closer to the enemy and do damage. Low health, high attack, you're probably a range character, get some distance between you and the boss. If you want the best chance of survivability, It's important you know where other players are! The boss follows the closet player, so knowing where your allies are will basically let you know where the boss is going to travel to. If you need time to heal, go to a character who can heal allies or stay away from the boss for a while. Each boss owns a unique way of fighting, so some may follow patterns or go bullet hell.

[Basic controls]
You can move your character around with asdw or the arrow keys just like any other game on robloxs.

You'll most likely be greeted to a black box with a bunch of images in it. Now, just be aware there is still a boss fight going on. So you can still be killed when on the select your character box. It's best not to waste too much time searching for a character. Best time to look around the shop and examine skills is when dialog is going on. You'll be missing some super cereal parts to the story though! But don't worry, the game does give breaks to do this kind of thing.

[GOLD & CHARACTERS & SP POINTS & STUFF]

Now, most likely you're new you can only pick between three characters. You can gain gold depending on which acts you survive on. Gold can be used to buy SP points or new characters.

Every character has their own unique way of playing the game. Moves and skills unique to them that are different from other characters. They all have their disadvantages and advantages so no characters are truly better than others. It just all depends on how you play with them. It's best to explore a bit and go with characters that fits your style of playing. All characters have two minors. One medium. And one ultra.

Minor 1
[L] Clicking: Clicking is the default move your character use. It's simple and deals minor effect.

Minor 2
[E]: Is an additional minor effective move that might cause the enemy a effect or help you get out of danger.

Medium 1
[R]: This deals medium effect and may or may not have a slightly longer reload time. Depending on which character you pick

Ultra 1
[F]: Is the character's high damage ability with a long reload time.

[SP POINTS]
When your on the menu box, you'll see a white box with x in it. Oh! You can also click the X to play as your Roblox avatar! But under the box will be a clickable text called sp points. Each points cost about 2,000 points. After you purchase your first sp point, click on the '+' on the 'Owned' character bar. No be aware. You can only upgrade your character's skills if you purchased them or unlocked them. Being a kool kid and having the gamepass will not let you upgrade them. It's like buying a demo of all the characters. Not getting the full set.

[OTHER STUFF!!!]
Even though characters all have their unique set of moves. They do follow some aspect. Depending on what color of suit the character is wearing is what their flame is. There are a total of 8 flames as listed.

Flame of Strom (Red)
"Strom, like a maelstrom furiously roars to his core."

Flame of Helios (Yellow)
"The sun shined as harsh as it could" "BUT, HE DIDN'T COME BACK."

Flame of Stratus (Purple)
HE CANT SAVE YOU

Flame of Narukami (Green)
"And so the Queen of lightning stroke, but too soon. He can't be returned."

??? (Gold)
Who wore this again? We all knew until he

Flame of Haze (orchid)
Dolumini Nebula's favourite suit.

Flame of Flux (Baby blue)
There will come soft rains.

Flame of Aether (White)
Omnibus Auxilium

That covers up the basic of the game! So what are you waiting for.. give the game a chance and see what the plot is all about.. Hopefully this guide allows you to live for a extra second!
