@Slydexia I might release some sort of API for game modes or disasters (not totally sure yet. Could pose risks.) If that happens, want me to tell you?

I can just tell you here.
A scripting challenge / Something I can't figure out is a realistic meteor shower disaster.
I had on in the original game, though it was using CFrame and Touched which cause each other to glitch out. In order for it to not glitch up all the time, it would need to use ray-casting to correctly identify its location and find everything it hits with.
I don't have the time to figure out ray-casting (I have never used it before. I hate it. lol) so if you wanna try |

I want meteors to fall from the sky, and use raycasting to find objects it hit and BreakJoints them basically

raycasting is useless don't use it.
so you want the meteors to break whatever they hit? pierce or no pierce? |

Raycasting is the only way I can think that it would work properly. What are you ideas as to how it would detect objects?
Touch would glitch for fast moving objects/CFrame
Also not sure what you mean by pierce or no pierce. |

i've never really had any problems with fast meteors and touch scripts. the only downside is the delay but otherwise it works perfectly.

Yeah, the delay isn't good.
Meteors should go through objects and erase themself to prevent performance issues.
