Maybe set a bodyforce/bodyposition on the character above the ground (if possible?) And then Cframe a ball under it? |

CFrame le ball beneath le character.
Weld le ball to le character.
Unanchor le ball.
Profit from le ball since no one can tell whether or not le ball is "rolling" anyways.

don't over complicate it guys.
make it a SkateboardPlatform but override with an animation of the character running/walking/whatever.
Weld a Sphere to the SkateboardPlatform and then find the vector perpendicular to the characters velocity, and CFrame the sphere rotating along that axis. find how much to rotate it by diving the distance traveled by the circumference of the sphere/timestep.
That's how i did it when i did something similar in an opengl marble racing game I made a long time ago. |

No. You stay in the same position but the earth turns, so you are not standing on an invisible barricade or anything. The earth is round and you can fall off, it's not flat.

| Soo... how about making a second ball over the spinning ball(turn off cancollide) so it only appears as if the player is moving with the ball.Shouldn't really be a problem unless you make code it heavily. |
