Greetings. Most of this thread was prepared, as I've thought about doing one for the past few months.

I've been planning this ever since I've joined Vaktovia. I have attempted to resign several times in vain.

However, as of late, there have been several events that have clearly showed me that I was unneeded in Vaktovia.

Let's start with Covertus.

/LfXmIxY

This was one of the last straws for me.

Covertus was my mentor back in the Vaktovian Ascension Core. He would train me like any other mentor but when I came to failing my graduation tests, he would only lament that I didn't choose a easy tester like Yeller, even though ttom VOLUNTARILY decided to be my tester.

It doesn't stop there. He never gave me any help when I was revising. And when I graduated, if I didn't directly follow his order at events, he'd use his officer pistol to kill me. I do not have screenshots; you will have to take my word for this.

In addition, whenever I posted on the wall, he'd focus directly on that comment and make a response to it. Same with the Maelstrom. Whether my comment be stupid or intelligent he'd see it as negative and will continue to make a negative comment about such.

Covertus was the one true person I disliked in VAK. I didn't enjoy his trainings that much. I didn't enjoy his attitude, nor his little "social circle" with Brookelle and PureNoble and whoever. I don't enjoy his treatment to me and how he'd focus on what I was personally doing when I was somewhere, not anyone else, even if they did equally or worse things.

I never told anyone my hate for him, because I knew that officers would go directly to speak to someone who apparently has more credibility than I do because they've gotten more achievements or ranks. I also didn't want to set a bad example for the VACs I've been mentoring, which brings me to my next point.

The main reason I began my mentoring program was so I can train VACs with potential to replace me in the Empire. I've been spending a lot of time planning and setting it up so that my apprentices can have an enjoyable experience. But that obviously won't go through, at least not anymore.

The time I will use for mentorship, I realize, is going to heavily cut into my academic and social life. And yes, I do have one, thank you. But my point is, my grades are dropping in school and I am still out of shape for someone who got 3rd at their state swim competition. If I spend so much time into mentorship, I also need to spend time into self-training. That overall takes a lot of time on the weekends. Even so, I’m going to have a lot of events to do over every month as I’m heavily involved in community service, clubs, AP and Honors Programs, and Swim Meets. I can’t let anyone down because of my schedule when they have so much time. The impatience was growing in just this one week.

There was so much I had planned to teach, although to every one of my apprentices now: KratosFidem, oRush, Synyk, dwayne1, and Brinlock, they all have shown me in the test I gave them that they have what it takes to be true Vaktovians, better than a lot of the current ones. And that goes for a lot of the VACs, too.

The main underlying issue I’ve been hearing from VACs regarding Vaktovia is that they are not respected or trusted enough. Whenever a VAC would join someone’s team, they’ll be like “OH NO A VAC WE’RE GONNA LOSE GUYS BECAUSE WINNING MATTERS A LOT TO ME.” Many people don’t know just how much potential a VAC has compared to current Vaktovians, and how many of them arguably should be in Vaktovia. I grew up as one of these VACs, and I speak for them on this.

Now, you’re probably wondering, “Oh so you’re selfish for leaving and you are just going to list a bunch of problems and not do anything about it.” Trust me, I’ve tried. I’ve been firm and strict on those, even above me, about VAC Disrespect lately. But all that adds up to being someone I am not. And I don’t think others like it either. Someone like me, someone so unnoticed and whose word is gone (see following paragraphs) will not have a great influence.

Earlier I said something about the officers. I talked with ChaoticDoom99 a while back, about if it was a possibility for me to leave VAK and go through the VAC again. He eventually convinced me that it’d be a waste of time. I never talked with another officer from that point forward. For a while I kept to myself. I couldn’t bring myself to talk about my issues with a high rank as they’ve not seen what has happened through my eyes. If I had even accused an officer of something they’d probably take the accused person’s word for it. So I don’t expect anyone to believe me about the whole Covertus thing; rather I posted it out there for people to realize how I was treated.

Stalinator had asserted to me on the wall and several other times that I won’t face prosecution for what I say or do. There is a hell lot of tension do to what I say. Back to Covertus again. He came to me in the middle of a TRA raid today, asking >me< why I keep posting quotes on the wall and out-right disrespecting me, on an on-duty channel. He spent most of the raid and rally sitting there acting absolutely immature and distracting soldiers from focusing.

My word, once praised and held high in the form of motivational threads, are gone. My word means nothing anymore. Stalinator said a bit back that what I said is not all condoned by Vaktovians. Maybe that’s true, but I believe I have a right to speech and state my mind, even if it’s not popular. If people cannot take my opinion seriously and even ignore what I say (which has happened a ton of times on the TS3), I would rather not say anything.

Another reason why I am resigning is because I am no longer recognized for what I have done. I’ve been here for almost 5 months and VACs that I helped with their GT are already ranks above me. Maybe I’m not the most active due to how busy I am, and maybe that means I can’t attend a lot of the events, so that connects back to why I do mentoring instead; to prepare VACs to replace me. Even so, I try my best when I do attend events. I change my attitude on the forums appropriately. Yet, this goes unnoticed. People don’t even recognize who I am anymore.

Every day I wake up and I go to school, go through my routine, and my head is running with many ideas to put down for Vaktovia’s betterment. With the little time I have to spend, these ideas fade out. Every day I have to deal with critics; with people at the Recruitment Center telling me their problems, with how to improve myself, with if I should leave Vaktovia or not, with what should I do for mentorship, and it gets wild. I never told anyone about this, either. It’s silly. This is just a clear indication that you’re addicted to the game. But when I take this game back a little, I go unrecognized. The same goes for when I do try hard.

I am done.

Yeller’s leaving and his thoughts, with a lot of other ex-Vaktovians, made me realize a couple things, about how perspective can shape everything. What people see outside about Vaktovia is so much different than inside. And both are negative, positive, bad, good, inaccurate, accurate, etc. But in the end, Vaktovia is not that much different from other clans. We can be strict. We can be organized. But it’s all up to the soldiers, and any clan that matches up to that can provide a tough challenge for us.

If I have anything left to type or evidence to show, I will post it on a reply, because by now my mind is cleared up and I am aware of what I am doing. I want to say that Vaktovia is the greatest clan I’ve been in, and by all means, it’s not perfect. It’s just more enjoyable than other dull clans of this declining community. That’s what keeps us going.
Right now, I will do shoutouts to several important people and figures that have truly played a part in my career. If I forget you, it’s probably because you haven’t made that much of a difference to me, but I thank you anyways

Apprentices
oRush/Susano the Imperial Beast: An individual that has great potential combat-wise, and very outspeaking/willing to participate. While he does need to work on aspects such as mechanics and a better understanding of concepts, he’s going to go a long way and will likely pass his GT even without my help.

Synyk/Surmav the Crimson Knight: While going more inactive, Synyk has dedication and is a great learner, but many of his qualities are outshined by his growing inactivity. I wish him the best.

Dwayne1/Ryaelon the Dragon of Hell: Extremely deep thinker and can almost go up with me in par in terms of philosophy and knowledge. He has a bit of ways to go in regards to combat, but he’s very focused and he will accomplish any task given. Outstanding individual.

KratosFidem: My oldest apprentice whom is still inactive; he’s made my summer enjoyable through my private mentoring for him and together we learned a lot of things. Keep going strong and I know that even after 2-3 years here, you will make it into Vaktovia.

Brinlock: Although I never finished his Pre-Test, Brinlock is also a very determined and focused individual. He’s complete and thorough with what he says, and he puts in a lot of effort, as well as being very confident in his abilities, to which I applaud to him for.

SentinelStrike: Had some fun times and we were both brought up by Covertus in mentorship, though he was the one more favored, just like CptJackPrice. Good luck.

oRebel, Vertillian, DarkSights: At some point I helped all of these three with their skills and we’ve remained good mutual friends since then. Wish best of luck to all of you.

Polonium: Very active, will go far in Vaktovia, talkative but knows what to do.

LordEvolution: VAKTOVIAN MINIGUN. I love you

Vermox: Extremely good fighter and got a well-deserved promotion, I recall when he was just a Stage 1 and I’d get my ass handed to me in duels. Best of luck.

LeighzerJet: The next great ranter of Vaktovia. Can be confusing to understand at times but really quite an interesting person. He and his combat skills will bring him far.

CptJackPrice: My old friend, I will need to talk to you sometime about this mess.

Yugitastic: HE DOES NOT HAVE AIMBOT; CONFIRMED. I’m being serious. Anyways he’s a pretty decent fighter and great in RCL. He’ll do wonderful later on. And he’s NOT PAUL’S ALT.

NightCh4os: I enjoyed all the discussions I had with you and it was fun with you on my team and us doing this and that. Keep working hard.

SenorMexico: Ship me tacos

Thomas713: Quiet, but great at fighting and knows what he’s doing since he’s already at Sergeant. Helped me out with my own skills too.

Xaela: DT0R: Xaela: DT0R: Jimmy Hendrix carries teams

TheStalinator: Great guy, great personality, we mess around occasionally but he still knows what he’s doing, he’ll get high rank

ImAwesomeFoo: The first great inspiration I had in Vaktovia, with all his sporadic speeches and whatnot.

AstralStrike: The one officer who apparently can do anything and make miracles. I used to be one of his “followers” until of course he became a Captain and had everyone else swarming him. Astral’s a great guy to go for anything but he too needs a break every once in a while.

Sylaine: This man was just the cool guy I looked up to in VAK. He was just cool and his personality was cool and he’s just badass to be honest

Gannex: Goes his way to organize and really is a better officer vs. a HiCOM position, I like him a lot now versus when he was a Supreme General. Fun guy.

DevilishPyro: Arguably one of the greatest high ranks in Vaktovia throughout history. I think we know why.

Hunter7777: Amazing strategist, fighter, and also human. Sometimes I think we forget that.

Vaktus: Have talked to him on multiple occasions and even got a personal message from him. In the end, he’s not some god, but he really is a down-to-earth guy and he’s gone through much to provide and give us what we have.
-
In the end, after almost a whole year of service, I am gone.

Whether this is final or not, I want you to know that despite all these issues I’ve had with Vaktovia and how I never opened up to anyone, it’s really, truly, been fun. It’s all been fun. I loved it. Vaktovia has created a space in my heart and memory. It was an honor to be one, but as they say,
“The greatest peace is that of death. Death is imminent. And death cannot be stopped. For it is the next great adventure, and it will be my last."

One last time…Glory to Vaktovia.

Adieu, for Auld Lang Syne.

And now I’m gone…

Or am I?

tl;dr: I am leaving. It's time for me to enjoy life. Perhaps one day...One day, you will see me around. Don't remember who I was or what I've done, but how I made you feel.

Also I hope you don't see me as a traitor or whatever because I'm obviously not going to join another clan. Trust me, nothing matches up to Vaktovia.

But I may be like Yeller sometimes.

Your words were held high as they were motivational in a time of war, a war which we were losing.

You have (though slightly limited) free speech here, however a failure on your part to collect evidence to penalize someone abusing you leaves no one else to blame but yourself.

You can speak your mind about this Empire. I do it all the time. We are by no standards perfect, however we have stood the test of time and are a great community.

Those were the only few opinions I had. Hopefully, you learned something from your experience in this Empire. I enjoyed your time here! Hope you did as well!

Thanks for the kind words.

Best of luck in the future.

Good luck, Isiah. I would have invited you to my mentorship but uh...this happened.

And yes Stalin, the lack of evidence is irritating, and I know I have little credibility (though if I find evidence, I'd gladly post it). It's up to you, the audience, to decide whether or not to trust my word.

I don't trust anyone without means to trust them with.

It's better to combat privately then on an open arena, if you get what I'm saying?

Very well, however. You have made your decision.

Feel free to PM me at any time, Rogue. Stay frosty.

Even though I respect Covertus, I've seen his little social circle of his favorites. He lets them get away with stuff and he gets away with it as well. What he said was uncalled for.

A shame he's probably only going to get a slap on the wrist for what he said about you, Rogue (If any punishment or even a verbal warning)

But eh, oh well, that's just what happens I suppose.

In the long run you'll be glad you put forth the effort to quit, I'm surprised my grades aren't total crud right now, thanks to quitting ROBLOX.

You're a good man, Rogue. Have a good life mate.
