Due to the recent and demoralizing absence of the activity of the Metropolitan Police Department, the following changes will be made that will affect MPD for the next week:
[REFORMS] Since MPD's activity is going downhill fast, the every MPD member from the ranks of Captain or lower will be forced to undergo a reformation process, which will demand that you meet the following criteria:
-You must send me a summary as to why you should be placed at the rank you previously had in MPD and as to why you should stay within this department. -You must complete a mandatory reforms training that will occur throughout most of next week, going from October 31st to November 7th.
If you do not meet all of these criteria by 11/7, you will be exiled from MPD.
[PATROLS] During and after reforms, your patrols at DC will be monitored and taken into consideration. Throughout this week, you are required to post patrol logs on the group wall. Next week, our high-ranking staff will be dealing with activity checks.
For patrol logs, every member, regardless of rank (this includes every HR), is required to post their username, their rank, the date of their patrol, the duration of their patrol, the number of arrests during that time, and the number of kills that were made within that time.
For those of you who don't know about this, the activity check is a basis for high-ranks to get certain knowledge of who is or isn't active at DC. In this case, a list of lower-ranked members' usernames will be placed in a Private Message to every high-ranking staff in the department. From there, they will be given the entire weekend to vote on who is or isn't active by either placing an "X" next to someone's name to resemble that they're not active, or by leaving the space blank to resemble that they are active. Once the votes are collected, a majority vote will determine the type of punishment the person would receive.
[RECRUITING/TRAINING] Since there's a lack of tryouts and training going on here, the changes I'll place will intend to increase activity and cooperation. Therefore, for each and every week, the high-ranking staff as a whole will now be responsible for hosting a minimum of 2-3 trainings and/or tryouts. In order for the session to count, it must last for at least one hour and must cover a variation of exercises. If the session goes for less time, it will not count unless certain precautions excuse the shortage of time.
If the high-ranking staff does not fulfill this quota for a certain week, consequences can and will be laid out amongst the entire staff.
[HIGH RANKS- DEPUTY CHIEF+] Since there's an expectency of a single member for Deputy Chief and higher, you all will not only be required to participate in these reforms, but this will serve as a warning to each and every one of you.
If I ever see this unsatisfactory type of commitment from you all again, you will be relieved of your duties.
[CONCLUSION] To finish things off, I am very, very disappointed in how this is turning out for MPD and it is quite a shame. This department was not set out to be some run-over agency to where they would be placed on the bottom of a pedestal and have every other agency cover for your slack. I am intending to end it right here and right now.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to PM me.
Good luck, you'll need it.
