| I'm asking this because I've been sleeping like that for the past 2 months and I've heard it's really dangerous because my dad told me you breathe CO2 and have a higher risk of lung cancer from that and you're not able to breathe properly and that's apparently how my uncle died... I sometimes wake up with my heart beating pretty abnormally for a while when I wake up with my head under my blanket... Could this be dangerous? |

It depends on the... -Temperature (If it's fairly hot, it's dangerous) -Thickness of blanket (If it's not very breathable, it is dangerous as there is little/no air flow and you may end up breathing in the same air you breathe out, which may eventually have too much CO2) -Type of material the blanket is made of (Same as above)
TL;DR - I wouldn't recommend it. |

yes its very unhealthy can easily cause brain damage circulatory issues and lung issues
and i that doesnt kill you first, your brain will get used to it and you'll end up dying of oxygen starvation |

| I sleep with it covering my face because i have a ton of mosquitos in my country and I can't afford a mosquito net to sleep in it and I'm not allowed to because the house we are living in is being rented by us and we don't own it. We're limited to what we can decorate in the house and it can't have any damage in it... Meaning we can't hang anything that uses thumbtacks to put in the wall like picture frames, gardening, and for mosquito nets you need thumbtacks and put it in the wall, we can't do that.. |

| We can't even have exterior decorations because it "doesn't fit with the season"... That's the complaint we got in our mail.. |

you inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide going to sleep with a blanket over your head would only be uncomfortable, and even then only for a little while once you drift off to sleep you'll unconsciously remove the blanket from your head, you'll wake up with it not covering your head
so no you'll be fine co2 is toxic, but that's why we exhale it unless you strap the blanket to your head or something you'll always wake up with it off your head |

| Dude I am being so serious right now... You don't know this because you might not live in eastern Europe but over here, we have the ghettoest house ever... I heard in the US and Australia the houses there are built from wood, but over here our houses are made from cement and concrete... Really good for natural disasters but the problem with that is the window and door... I live in a rented home and our windows are literally just a big chunk of block cut open and place a glass over it... |
