| For detailed builds, I like to use CmdUtl and Model Resizer plugins. |

Don't be afraid to abandon the grid. Grids are useful for building many things, but especially if you're building something 'natural' looking, it's best to have freeform positioning where possible.
Also, QCmdUtl. I hardly ever use it, but simply having it as an option has saved my butt multiple times. |

I've never bothered with F3X, so I can't say. What I can say is that it's better to build everything in studio than solo play, especially if you want to get into scripting at all.
Studio is incredibly useful and simple. It frankly baffles me that people often choose to build in solo mode. |

i advise using cmdutl and building assistant along with building huge models then resizing them down so you can get more detail |
