I mean, would it effect them the way it does to us? Like how it screws up and pretty much destroys atoms. I know that radiation will damage anything with atoms, but I want to know if it effects much smaller organisms the way it effects us.

you would need a lot of radiation to kill all viruses and bacteria
there are problems with that though:
1) that much radiation could kill us 2) some bacteria are needed to live 3) doctors and all of them would go out of business |

No, I mean any viruses or bacteria that are searching for hosts. Like, it's just lying around somewhere.
