(4 Rest Positions) -Stand at ease: Arms will be placed behind your back and you will stand in place and look towards the person commanding you with your body as long as he/she is visible. If he/she goes out of sight of you, you resume to look straight until he/she is back into sight.
-Parade Rest: Arms will be placed behind your back and you will look straight without movement or sound. There is absolutely no talking at this position meaning you will not answer any questions regardless of who is asking what so ever.
-At ease: Arms will be placed behind your back and you will stop talking regardless of the topic and continue to do so until the command "As you were." is given.
-Rest: Arms can be at any postion and you are permitted to talk and rotate in place freely, however; there is no moving from your current position.
(Ranks & Columns)
-Ranks are line formations that go side to side. Ex:"In two ranks, fall in!"

(Addressing)
All commands are given at the position of attention. If you are not commanding there should be no talking or movement in the formation at the position of attention.
(Dress & Cover)
-Dress Right Dress is used to spread soldiers out in a rank formation. The base does not move what so ever but does put his/hers left arm up to dress to the person beside them. The individual at the end of the rank does not dress to anyone so they do not place their arms up what so ever. The proper command to release this command is "Ready, Front." if the command is not given all arms must be up.
-Cover is used to spread soldiers out in a column formation. The individuals in the front do not move what so ever, those behind them will turn to their right to see how close their shoulder is to the person infront of them and will adjust accordingly to have a small gap between the two. When the space is gained the individuals at cover should still be facing the right until the command "Recover." is given.
