I'm currently cloning the Raspbian Jessie image onto my micro SD card. Hopefully my USB WiFi adapter will work with it. It works with Debian Jessie on my PC but sometimes software written for x86_64 computers won't work on ARM computers.
It's the Raspbery Pi 2 Model B.

| Apparently, websites think its a cellphone and they keep on giving me the mobile version. I think it's because it's running an ARM processor like most cellphones do. I installed a user-agent switcher add-on into my web browser and that fixed it. |

Iceweasel. It's basically Firefox but better. I was going to install Chromium but it appears it does not exist for ARM devices.
@ders
I can just install an emulator, don't need to make one.
@Bringer
No clue what that is. |

No. Iceweasel is practically identical to Firefox. They practically just recompiled Firefox and called it Iceweasel.

| Raspberry Pi's are awesome although the lack of Windows support does not impress me. I would install Linux on a raspberry pi if I had one, but the goal of a raspberry pi is meant to be a 35 dollar PC alternative. If my mom's computer was to die tomorrow, a raspberry pi would be a good replacement for her, but however it needs to have support for Windows. Yes, there is a distro of Windows called Windows 10 IOT core, but it is not intended for regular use. It is intended for app developers. If they were to release a version of Windows 10 that anyone could use on the raspberry pi I would be impressed. It still boggles my mind how with all the optimizations Microsoft has done to Windows in the past we're still on the "1GB Minimum" requirement for running any Windows edition. Microsoft really needs to get on the ball to make the minimum requirement for Windows 10 512MBs to run decently. |

It's not a Windows machine... that's like saying a microwave sucks because it doesn't wash your dishes.
>"I would install Linux on a raspberry pi if I had one, but the goal of a raspberry pi is meant to be a 35 dollar PC alternative."
It's meant to be a 35 dollar computer. Not necessarily a "personal computer" as it can be used for single-purpose tasks in businesses and such.

Because (1) Windows is bulky as hell, and (2) Windows is only built for x86 and x86_64 architectures, while the Raspberry Pi runs ARM, so it would be impossible for the Raspberry Pi to ever run Windows.
