is mainly because while everyone in Europe struggled for survival and had to learn efficient techniques for staying warm, building shelter, etc.
the africans just danced under the palm tree and ate bananas for hundreds of years.
furthermore, they were also isolated from the rest of the world due to a vast amount of jungles and deserts.
they couldn't trade with European nations and never developed their modern-day technology
so my question is, why exactly is America now helping them?
they didn't work hard to develop,
in almost every other continent, the nations within worked to develop their technologies and become superior towards neighboring countries.
so why should we help them?

If Africa could get it together and form a federation of all the African nations they would be really powerful.
Some examples of this are the African Union, Economic Community of West African States, and the East African Community |

If they lower the birth rate, then we won't have to worry about food problems.

And anyway, they would need to go through a medical or industrial revolution to reach Stage 2 of the demographic transition, which all the countries have in some way according to their dependency ratios. To become a fully developed country, the birth rate would have to drop+. Not only that, but they would need to catch up to the rest of the world in the form of technological advances, which some countries, such as South Africa, have already done.
