It is OBVIOUSLY a kids show, I've never been able to understand why so many teenage or young adult men like it so much..

Eh. The graphics are cute and some of it is actually good. most people join the "MLP hate bandwagon" so they can fit in

I don't care about the "Bandwagon" I just can't understand why it's so popular to older men. It's like older men liking strawberry shortcake or hello kitty

teenage boys and men like invading the space of children pretending to be making some social statement, when they really just make it especially unsafe for children (such as my 10 year old sister, from experience) to like it
there's other shows and movies aimed at children that have a lot of adult fans that haven't gone downhill like the mlp community has |

I just can't wrap my head around seeing a 20 year old guy wearing an mlp or hello kitty cosplay. WHICH I HAVE SEEN and it is terrifying

| it's okay for people to like things that aren't intended for their age group or gender, but it's not okay to do what the typical brony does |

| Transformers has always been aimed at boys, with female characters in the franchise usually only a few per cartoon/comic/film. Despite this, the series has a female fanbase — which is commonly portrayed in the other parts of the fandom (adult fans who collect MPs) as being full of fangirls who ship Megatron x Starscream. Starscream in general seems to be fangirl bait, no matter the continuity. Nobody's really sure why. |
