Do you think the programming or scripting languages you learned increased your math skills?
For me it did very much. |

Yes and no.
I know Trig better than I did before. I've never had a stronger cheat engine for my homework. |

I really had 0 idea what Trigonometry until I started experimenting with
sin, cos, tan with Roblox; it was fun while it lasted...
Then I started to understand Sine and Cosine waves, blah blah blah
All and all it was fun... |

Yeah, I guess. Programming helps your brain go from point A to point B in an efficient (if not, at least orderly) fashion - which definitely helps with math (and math-based science) classes.
I've been programming since I was young, and I'm positive it helped with geometric and calculus proofs. In my Physics classes, I always check what units I'm given and I figure out what units I need, then as long as I know the relationship between them, I get the answer fairly easily. |

| Yes, and vice versa because I was a genius at math before programming and both connected with each other. |

No because I hate math and that hurts me greatly in coding ability(its not that I cant do it, I just hate doing it)

| Absolutely. You may not learn formulas, but you learn how to problem solve and you learn coordinates really well. I remember in my physics class I would always script up a little thing that correlates to what we were doing in class to better understand the math behind it and why things work the way they do. And it can go the other way around too. If you learn something in school, you can use that knowledge to script something for further practice (and it's not nearly as boring and stale as school!) |

| I already enjoyed math a lot so I naturally studied concepts introduced to me through programming. |

Just the concept of variables was enough to give me an advantage in early algebra over my peers. Programming is very beneficial to your math skills. It makes you solve problems and think outside the box for solutions. And yes like all the others have mdntioned, it is a great cheat engine for homework. |

| I really think that scripting and/or programming has gotten me to think more creatively and be able to solve more problems quicker and logically. |

I'm taking differential equations this semester and linear algebra next (which are both 300-level university math classes). Programming is definitely still helping. |
