I've pretty much had sealifephobia my whole life. For some reason I'm scared of sea life, now sure I can swim and whatnot but I'm scared of any sort of sea life whatsoever for some reason. It would be a nightmare to swim in an ocean I'd be scared as absolute hell. Even if you showed me a very small goldfish it would scare the hell out of me for some reason.
It's ironic how my favorite color is electric blue, or any blue for that matter.

"I'm scared of being deep in the ocean" "Challenger deep doesn't frighten me though" But challenger deep is the deepest ocean point in the world . . .

| If I am EVER underwater in the ocean. I would NEVER look down. They make a ravein , canyon look like nothing when you look down those. Hell the depths of the ocean goes further down than yhe height of Mt. Everest. Just the thought of that also frightens me . |

I'm pretty sure the only part of the world's oceans which is deeper than Mt. Everest's height is the Marianas trench/Challenger deep

| Iamjonroncinabon I know its the deepest but when you're looking at seabed photos of Challenger Deep it really doesn't seem to frighten me other than everywhere around you is dark and you have no hope of escaping. Without a strong bright as hell light. |

The lack of light isn't the scariest part of the ocean though. Returning to the surface of the ocean too fast and then dying is a bit scarier.

I agree that deep underwater is pretty scary... especially at night.
