Becoming a player can be fairly easy. Just by joining the IFL, you've opened yourself up to many opportunities and options to choose from. A great way is to regularly join or meet with coaches. Another great way is to message coaches telling them your positions.
1:2 [BECOMING A COACH]:
To become a Head Coach, there must be a spot open. You must then send your resume to the Commissioner. Being a trusted player or board member definitely helps your case. You could also become an Assistant Coach, whom is chosen by the Head Coach, which also gives you abilities to control the team as well.
1:3 [LEAVING A TEAM, ILLEGAL SIGNINGS & FORMING/LENDING]:
Players may ask for a release at any time before the Playoffs. If you were illegally signed, please notify Executive Board+ members. Team forming and player lending is illegal.

Teams have the liberty to pick their formations, line ups, etc. There are no specific positions on the field. However, a game is played with 7 players, and can go as low as 2 players before the game being called a forfeit (read Book 5 for forfeit rules).
3:2 [STARTING A PLAY]:
A play cannot start until a referee has blown a whistle, signaling that everyone is ready. If a team starts before the whistle, it will result in a dead play and a redo.
3:3 [SACKING]:
If the auto tackle script is triggered when a player is rushing the QB, it is considered a legal sack. If a rusher happens to lag, a redo is needed. If a rusher dives behind the LOS, it will be a 5 yard penalty.
3:4 [TIME-OUTS & GAME TIME]:
Each team is given 3 time-outs per half. A game is four 7 minute quarters.
---BOOK 4: [KICKING AND SNAPPING]
4:1 [KICKOFFS]:
On a kickoff, the kicking team MUST kick the ball behind the 30 yard line. If the ball goes out of bounds without touching inbounds, the ball will be placed at the 40 yard line. If it touches the back and goes out, it will be a touchback. Onside kicks are allowed (read 4:4). Laterals are illegal.
4:2 [FIELD GOALS]:
Field Goals can ONLY be attempted during 4th down (unless an end-of-game situation) and the LOS must be AT LEAST on the 40 yard line. If the kicker moves, the play will result in a Turnover on Downs.
4:3 [EXTRA POINTS]:
Teams have a choice of going for a field goal, or a 2 point conversion. All extra points will be set at the 20 yard line. Field goals are worth 1 point. 2 point conversions are worth 2 points, and can be any play you may want to use.
4:4 [ONSIDES]:
The kick must pass the 50 yard line. If it fails to do so, the ball will be placed at the 40 yard line. The recieving team may lineup at the 35 yard line, with the ball kicked from the 30. Before the kickoff, the recieving team must be warned of the onside kick. Failure of warning is a 5 yard penalty and a redo.
4:5 [SNAPPING]:
Snapping behind and silent hiking are legal. Snapping behind the endzone, out of bounds, outside the hashes, and snapping forward are illegal.
---BOOK 5: [FORFEITS]
5:1 [FORFEIT BASICS]:
If too few players appear for a team and are online, 20 minutes will be waited. If a full team is offline, only 10 minutes. If no one from either team appears after 20 minutes, the game will be a tie.
5:2 [WHOLE TEAM ABSENSE]:
If no one from a team appears, the appearing team may either call a forfeit win or ask for a reschedule after 20 minutes. If a whole team is offline, only 10 minutes is needed before the team decides to win by forfeit or reschedule.
5:3 [1 OR 2 APPEARANCES]:
