Hello, I briefly introduce the problem: On October 15th ROBLOX has released it weekly Thursday patch, but unfortunately this patch was not fully optimized for the latest OS X, on top of that Apple did release around 3 patched this week for OS X El Capitan, including a browser patch and a system update night before the Thursday's ROBLOX patch, which probably is the cause of this error. Long story short, the ROBLOX desktop application is unable to connect with the internet even though the computer itself is connected to the network.
This is the message that pops up after you try to launch any game on ROBLOX: https://twitter.com/Whazzi_/status/654686622093410304
It seems that OS users are also unable to use ROBLOX Studio, but since I uninstalled each ROBLOX file ever existed on my MacBook I'm afraid I can't test that theory..
If you are wondering is there a way of solving this issue? Well, there is no way that us, average users, can do so. I ran a long series of testing trying to solve this issue but nothing seems to work. I even installed extra browsers (like Firefox) to test maybe the ROBLOX launcher would work on them specific browsers. All we Mac users can do now is sit and wait till ROBLOX repatches their latest patch and hope it won't happen ever again.
P.S - As of now, October 16th, ROBLOX have not yet even posted on any social media that they are aware of this issue. That is why I suggest everyone who read this thread to take 30 seconds of their life to tweet ROBLOX on Twitter in hope they will even bother jogging their eyeballs forward it.

I am able to run and develop in Roblox Studio but I an unable to run Roblox as I get the unable to connect error. I updated safari almost a week ago. Everything was fine until two days ago with a Roblox update. When I tried to update it said unable to connect. I tried reinstalling Roblox as well as using other browsers such as google chrome and firefox.
I hope they are aware of this issue and fix it ASAP. |

I have seen different problems with this, My Fried had a MAC I Know him IRL. The Roblox Application is still in the computer and you have too switch which was rly strange for me. This problem should have been dealt with. Roblox also runs for OS. I can play on a OS, Your internet probably is having a Firewall war with roblox. Is that's the case.
But I do recommend Using a Browser that can fit roblox, I use Internet. Sometimes demands me for chrome. But I recommend seeing if you have any malware on your computer causing some internet issues, If These don't work then contact roblox. I play on desktop fine. Yesterday was October 15th. I still see some bugs with my roblox studio like losing data from my places, When I enter it.
Did you try redownloading a Updated Application. Or is your router, Disconnecting from your server. All possible ways could happen with a Soultion, I recommend asking roblox.
