| That a US soldier costs about as much as one of the Imperial Guardsmen from WH40K? I don't remember by how much, or where I learned it, but that only means we just need faith in the God-Emperor of Mankind. |

| does that mean an american soldier is essentially dirt cheap and put into combat with no prior training other than "pull the trigger?" |

@Fleetcom
Nononono.
You're thinking of North Korea, not America. It's expensive to be an American Soldier. |

| also considering human life in 40k is the lowest form of currency unless you have some sort of special skills you're saying a us soldier is worth nothing unless they can operate special weaponry. |

Eh.
I'm sure an American soldier is expensive, but a Guardsman is cheap.
Pointless, that means they have more money than us. |

since the imperium is in the quintillions its the fact they have more HUMANS which makes the value to a human's life pale in comparison to the weaponry they wield or vehicles they use, which take knowledge to use and time/resources to produce whereas humans are in the countless numbers.
why lose an irreplaceable planet when you can lose a couple billion replaceable humans? |
