This is the chain log for GTA V development. A website will come soon for pictures and all.

DAY 1: Roads and bridge being built, Terrain experimenting.

DAY 2: More roads, bridge guard rails, posts, barriers, Smooth terrain was a pain, removed. Working on part terrain.

How do you intend to bring such a complex game on ROBLOX?
It's almost impossible. Lua can't handle that much.

It's going to good. Trust me on that, LUA can do as much as I need. Maybe there won't be exact textures, but particle emitters are one thing I am planning on using. Would you play it?

so there would be NPCs, cars driven by npcs, npc air vehicles, yoga/tennis, heists and all that extra stuff?

Probably gonna be a cheap rip-off just like any ROBLOX games based on actual games.

I mean don't do any detail until you make it work. Have a game playable before you add detail.

Okay. Some features aren't easy, like NPC's. The game is not going to be nfsboy's junk. We plan on having the ability to be a cop. No, cops will not be able to abuse. Just wait and see, and if you want the game link of what has been completed just ask.

Oh, and also the star ranking for if your in trouble will be a thing. 1 star, 2, 3, 4, 5. The will blink as you are getting away, and you will see cops on the radar.

If you do make the game very similar to GTA and also the map size then you're gonna have some serious lag issues due to a lot of parts.For example in your house place you have used parts for the flooring,one example which would cause lots of lag later,it would be better to use textures.

Also to script NPC reactions,walk patters,phones,NPC driven vehicles would be hard.

The map isn't going to be that big, lol. 2 maxed out base plates is what we have right now, for the development. I don't think it will be too laggy, at least if you have a decent pc. Now I'm not saying like a gaming computer, but a standard computer should do for this game. Lag has been taken into consideration, and we are going to try to minimize it.

Also, The grey house is pretty advanced. That will be one of the more expensive houses. There is a new basic house on that game as well if you'd like to check it out.

One more thing. We need cars, and I am not the best at making them, nor is my partner. If you are interested in vehicle building and you can do the following:
- Minimize parts
- C-Frame
- Make cars with a smooth ride
- Realistic function (Wheel turns, Door opens on key)
We will be willing to take you in for consideration. This game is not a joke, and should be taken seriously.

Oh, I forgot to add. NPC's will be extremely difficult to add, so they might not be completely incorporated in alpha/beta. There might be animated characters set to loop a path, but that's as complicated as NPC's will get until ROBLOX adds some NPC API. NPC's will be "muggable", so don't worry it isn't going to be that simplified.

Day 8: Finished main perimeter terrain, Finished trailer outro w/ Adobe After Effects, now making the actual development trailer.

Surprisingly not terrible, although you're developing the game in a bad order.

Build it from the ground up, from the first thing the player sees to the last.

Interesting...

I'll go try out the game whenever I can.

I can't do it now since I'm on my iPad and ROBLOX of course, runs terrible on my device. Besides, I'm in school right now so there's no way I can access ROBLOX via PC.

(Tell me to use the computers in the library and I'll flippin' do a faceplant)

Sounds good! Just to let you know, the game has no mechanics yet and isn't even close to alpha. At day 15 the game will go to 100 robux to limit the players, then a few percent off to preorder, then full price for beta and after that free. That was somewhat complicated to type and probably doesn't make sense, so in a sense the game is only free for a few more days until we go to a paid beta access.

I'm off to go learn about some middle mouse button functions and circle GUIs, if your catching on to what I'm making :)
