a single faction is turning the world into a one-world government
only a few people are left of what was before and are being hunted down by the one-world government
its kind of generic but ayy |

Funny. As long as the main character isn't a pretty teenage girl who's too smart/witty for her own good and has managed to survive so long because she's motivated by a hunky guy/the need for true justice/because the plot calls for it/because her parents are dead, then I think it'll be fine. |

what this is for an rp, not a story
and of course someone like that would be dead along with her hunky guyfriend unless either of them actually know how to survive
also were you trying to reference something?? it sort of seemed like it :P |

| Are you saying RPs don't have main characters? Because RPs have main characters that aren't player-controlled and are required to drive along the plot in cases. And I'm referencing every Young-Adult novel that's already used this idea. (See: Hunger Games, Divergent, etc.) |

well, this would be more like group-isrp-style, so the main characters would primarily be the players
i also don't read very much, and particularly not books like hunger games, divergent, etc so yea |

| Be careful when you're doing that, Group ISRPs have the fundamental issue of if a player leaves, everybody either waits for him or he's left far behind in terms of the story. |

yeah, all of my rps (except one maybe?) have been group isrps, so I've encountered this problem multiple times before this time I might just go ahead and make decisions for them depending on their CS if they go inactive for too long to solve that problem |

| Making decisions for players is the worst possible thing you can do. Maybe instead of having it be a Group ISRP, you can just have it be a Linked ISRP, where all the characters are in the same thread and can interact with each other, but aren't necessarily forced to stick together. |

they're not necessarily forced to stick together anyways, though
plus it'll make them more committed if you make decisions for them when they're inactive. It'll be based off their character's description and CS choises, though, so yeah |

| That's still a really terrible idea. "Oh hey, you better post or I'm going to make important decisions for you and wrestle away control of your character. What? You wanted to roleplay and you were just busy? Too bad, I'm going to roleplay for you." |

you're putting too much pressure on the timing I'd probably wait a day or so, and it typically wouldn't necessarily be an important decision
i'll take your advice, though and scrap my previous idea |
