INTRODUCTION
Greetings fellow Imperial Knights, or guests new to the group. This guide is in regards to the SWR group of Imperial Knights, and explains nearly everything there is to know about the group. If you are new and seeking to succeed; read everything there is in here. If you want to review, go to the section that you struggle most with.

WAYS OF THE IMPERIAL KNIGHT
The Imperial Knights were considered an oddity within the Galaxy. Although they sided with the Empire and often affiliated with the Sith in matters and affairs, they operated more towards the Light Side of the force than the Dark Side, and the Jedi Orders often viewed them as Gray rather than Light or Dark.
The Imperial Knights swore allegiance to the Emperor of the New Empire, and swore that should the Emperor ever fall towards the Dark Side, they would remove him and any of his supporters. Although their Allegiance to the Emperor was strong, they were ultimately loyal to the Force. They would also remove any of their comrades if they would fall to the Dark Side as well.
The Imperial Knights operated similarly to the Jedi, but there are differences. For instance; they believed the Force was a powerful tool, and not much else. They respected it and knew the dangers, but did not believe in meditating on the matter. They believed the Force should not be used out of Anger or Selfishness, and required strict training to uphold.

KNIGHTS CREED
Loyalty) A Knight is expected to listen to and obey their superiors, and to follow their example. Likewise, the High Ranks should display respect and kinship to those below them. A Knight should be willing to fight alongside any of his/her comrades and be willing to risk his/her life for their comrades.
Honor) A Knight should always set an example to others. They are expected to be civil to anyone; whether it be friend or foe, regardless of situation or past experience, and be fair at all times. A Knight should show tolerance for all creatures regardless of species, sentience, age, personal beliefs/ideals and appearance.
Moderation) A knight should strive to attain balance within the force, within his own self, and with his place in the galaxy as a whole. A knight should strive to attain strength, wisdom, skill and power to better be able to do his duty and overcome obstacles.
Duty) A knight should be able to put aside his personal wants, desires, hopes and fears in favor of selfless dedication to the state and its citizens. A Knight should always do his utmost to right wrongs, protect those who cannot do so themselves, punish cruelty, oppression and malicious acts, aid those who need help and resolve issues in a peaceful fashion. A knight should be ready and willing to battle enemies without mercy and face torture, humiliation, loss and death without hesitation or remorse.

KNIGHT+ DUTIES
As a Knight, you are expected to completely uphold everything this guide states, and failure to do so would result in punishment. Knights generally lead patrols in the SWR game and organize the server they patrol to keep things in order.
Once you obtain the rank "Knight", you have 2 objectives to complete before obtaining the rank of Knight Lieutenant.
1 - You must join one of the twelve Knighthood Orders and dedicate yourself to it.
2 - Train at least one Apprentice fully and get him/her to become a Knight.
Once you have completed these objectives, you will either become a Knight Lieutenant for your Order or wait to become one. There can be only 2 Lieutenants per Order.
Knight Lieutenants help to lead patrols for their Order and manage their policies. Knight Captains manage their Orders and their members, and are charged with the task of keeping their Order active.

APPRENTICESHIP
As a Knight teaching an Apprentice, you must make sure that your apprentice understands the following.
Loyalties - The apprentice must learn that they are loyal to the force, followed by the Knights, and finally, the Emperor.
Standing - The apprentice must learn that as a Knight, they will be powerful and have authority only trumped by higher ranked Imperial Knights. They must learn not to let this power get to their head.
Combat - The apprentice must learn how each weapon works and when to use them, along with advanced blaster and saber combat. Knights are expected to be able to take on multiple Jedi in battle.

Exile - You are banished from the group, and will remain so for at least one week. If you decide to return, you will start from the very beginning. Used on very serious breaks in the rules and philosophy.
Suspension - Members can no longer progress within the group, making the rank they are currently at the highest they can ever possibly achieve. They can be demoted if this punishment is placed upon them, and they can progress back to the rank they were suspended at.
"Start-Over" Demotion - Members are demoted to Initiate, regardless of rank. Used if the person's beliefs and actions are called into question of whether or not they actually learned how to be a functioning Knight, and must start over to re-learn the ways of the Imperial Knights.
Demotion - Members are demoted by either 1 - 3 ranks, depending on severity.
Warning - Members are warned to stop their actions, if inappropriate for the group. If the member breaks rules again in a time-span of 1 week prior to Warning, they are demoted.
