| In Lumber Tycoon 2, he has an amazing way of picking stuff up. Right now I have no idea how he did it, but can you guys give me an idea, like body velocity or something, and a way to make your strength customizable, and the weight of the object ur picking up is an int value? |

He found the location of his mouse, then set a particle emiter of a low value to the mouse location. From there its really just a simple drag and click, using hopperbins. |

A hopper bin is a seperate instance from a tool, the difference between hopper bins and actual tools is one can require a weld and a tool, yet the other does not have to require such formalities. There more than likely is more than one way to get what the solution to the problem of what he used. |

they're deprecated and bad and tools can be done without a handle anyway

First create a tool second create a local script Find a way to get the relative position of your mouse. from there create a new instance of particle emitter and set the range. then ??? Profit

yet I would have to disagree http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=API:Class/HopperBin it clearly just states they are old, and should not be used. Does not mean they cannot be used, in contrast to the message api http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=API:Class/Message which clearly tells us in red that it is deprecated
