You, fine sir/madame, are a peasant in the kingdom of Dureoth. You're very poor, and you pretty much give most of your food to the king. Can you survive in this place?

| I'm tired of being a Peasant already. Time to gather up some Peasants. I head down to the nearest tavern, angry and in need of a drink and some like-minded people to share it with. |

Ah, I see you have a neutral standpoint. Very well. >What's your farm's name?

You, and a couple of your peeved friends go down to the tavern for a hard drink. In this place there are many tough men and women, not to mention mercenaries. >What do?

| >Farms don't need names. It's just a farm, in which I work on. Working is so tiring sometimes, but I have to do it to survive, even just barely. Ah, a life of a peasant is pleasant. |

I buy a drink for those around, costing me most of my money I've saved up, but it's well worth it. I talk with them for a time, bringing up how horrid the conditions are we live in. Once they're all liquored up, I stand up on a table and begin to speak.
"Fellow peasants, mercenaries, and farmers. We live a tragic existence. We pay homage to a King who takes all our food, and leaves us standing in our own filth hoping for extras. If we can band together, we can over-throw even their strongest knights. Break down the castle's walls, and proclaim a new leader. One fair of heart, and strong of mind. We will choose a leader together, not let blood-line or social status choose for us."
I grasp my own drink, and raise it into the air. "Now whose with me?" |

>Ah yes, but after working so hard there is at least some semblance of a reward. You monthly payment arrives, to make sure you don't starve. This should keep you fed until next payment.

| I hand him and his friends more drinks as I am a bartender. I take the money and put it in a shelf. |

| I'd nod. "I agree, we must stand against our king. He forces me to make a drink for him everynight that takes HOURS to make. I am tired of him. I already have my startin' weapon." I'd say pulling out a knife. |

>A rousing 'HURRAH!' comes from the crowd, making that money feel well spent. A few of the still sober men ask, "Even if we plan a revolution, this tavern's occupancy still isn't enough!" The people mutter to themselves. The plan doesn't seem as good now. "We may be strong, but they've trained! Their archers would destroy us!" A few guardsmen walk in. "Naew, what's dis talk of revooluten against de king, filth? We'll put ye in the stock if we hear mor talk like that!" One of them waves around his ax threateningly.

| I'd wait for the men to go out. "I'll brink me packs for drinks. We need someone to carry all the food, eh." I'd say when the men go out. "Aye, after we get this kingdom back to normal and fair, shall we help other people as a team? We can have our own journey and team. Ye know?" |

@flooperdooper >The tavern people nod, now fully understanding why a revolution is so badly needed. A few men say "Yeah, together." The man from before says, "Yeah, but we'll need a plan and a meet-up point. We can't bum rush now, or we'll get destroyed."

I nod to the bartender. "We go, and we recruit people. To not only fix this kingdom, but those beyond."
I climb down from the table, and begin to move from person to person. The only thing keeping me so confident to keep talking is the liquor, which will eventually be my downfall.
"You've all got someone. Whether it be you, your family, your lover.. You all have someone you care about. Do you think you, or your family would want to live like this? Going month to month, hoping the King's taxes don't go any higher? Begging and wasting away, unhappy forever?"
I pause for dramatic effect, before continuing.
"NO! There are others out there, far and wide who must feel the same. We must go and gather more people. This could be the base of operations, but you're right. Without more people, this is doomed to fail. But that doesn't mean we can't get more people. This is the only chance you'll ever have to make a difference. Do you really want to squander it for fear?" |

>Each person nods to you, thinking of the people they know and love. The liquor is spread among them, making them braver, but what they're thinking is still true. A man stands up. "Yeah, guys. I've been working on my small farm for my entire life. The taxes have gone up twice in my life, damaging my family. We eat soup made of soggy bread, with bread to the side. That's all we eat, is bread. Meanwhile the king stuffs his fat face with turkey, beef, and chicken. The fact peasants are even allowed to go the tavern once in a while is a blessing! Just to get a chance to laugh! I say, let's do this! Down with the King of Delroth! Down with the cruel kingdoms! Liberty!" The man punches the guard that just walked in, sending him tumbling to the floor, unconscious.

| I pick up the axe from the unconscious guardsman, feeling it's weight. I lift it up into the air, and shout as loud as I can. "Gather your supplies, your horses. We take the local guards, then we march to the other towns. We will gather up the citizens, then fight! For your future, for your liberty!" |

>"SAH, I RECOMMEND WE TAKE THE LOCAL ARMORY!" "YEAH! FREEDOM!" "*memes here*" "LET'S DO IT!" "I KNOW A SECRET STOCKPILE TO SUPPLY OUR TROOPS!" "DEATH TO THE KING!" "THE QUEEN IS PRETTY HOT THOUGH." "I HAVE SPEARS!" "I'M A BLACKSMITH!" "THE PRINCE IS PRETTY COOL."

| "Well, I might aswell state my name first off before we begin. I'm Dragan." I'd say. I'd begin packing the wine and such into my pack as long with knives. I'd run out with the men to get our supplies. "Come back when you have your supplies!" |

I turn, and keep the axe lifted up. "We will march on the armory. From there, we will take the Guardsman down, and take their mounts. We'll move to a nearby city, and recruit more people. If we move fast, we can catch the guards here, and even in the next town over by surprise, with almost no resistance.
So keep together, stay with me! I will lead you to victory!" |
