I can agree with that. Complimenting just gives you this sense of good will and it makes you feel just as positive. And I just feel great, because I'm making someone else feel good of course.

| Like, a girl at my old high-school told me I had "serial killer eyes" as a joke. They're fairly intense. That troubled me for a really long time and it was not fun. |

@momo I try not to be, but my social anxiety gets in the way Being spontaneous about things does make it easier, so I think I'll try just walking up to people like you said |

| @sly why? when strangers compliment me it makes me feel good because it has a different value than one of your friends complimenting you- they aren't obligated too and have no bias so they really mean what they say |

On the bright side, if they need a scary actor to play someone scary, I can jump right in. Hahaha... hah... D:
But anyway, when people online make fun of me they always go for the eyes too. It sucks. |

Also it makes me feel less self-centered,I just always have this feeling I'm only boosting my own self-esteem instead of others. So it's always a better feeling when your boosting someone else up instead of yourself. That doesn't mean I don't have an uncontrollable ego that destroys me,but when you compliment get a compliment from another person, you tend to perform better then you telling yourself. It's alllllllll about being nice, and being nice is good. |

| @de i mean it depends on how you deliver the compliment and the intentions. but if its a sincere compliment who's only purpose is to express their admiration or praise then that's not something to be mad over ofc |
