Can anyone help with this?

I am trying to create a projectile, that will fly at a 90 degree angle (straight line) for my top-down MOBA game. The goal is (I already have click-to-move movement) to be able to move the mouse around the screen, and when I press 'q,' a projectile is fired that won't hit the ground because my mouse is pointing at the ground. So you see, the mouse allows for aiming. but it also shoots into the ground, anyone know how to help with this?
