I've found that when using Linux, it's either really easy or really hard.
This is because, if you're running an X server, there's mountains of GUI versions of tools to get things done, making it easy.
But if you're not running an X server, there's like zero GUI versions of tools, all tools are command-line, meaning you need to read like 20 manuals on commands just to figure out how to do basic tasks.
So I am working to fix this by creating a series of GUI tools that run in the command line. I'm coding them in Bash using the "dialog" command.
I am working on tools to setup WiFi and tools to mount/unmount volumes at the moment.
