and all that jazz and either remove or fix it
The debt would shrink
Make people work In this country
No one who isn't disabled shouldn't be sitting at home drinking his Cup of coffee waiting for that welfare check |

| I think that's a very idealistic and simple view on the issue, which probably wouldn't actually have to outcome you'd need/want it to. |

So what kind of people do you think use welfare?
I'd like you to list a criteria of people that are on welfare and don't deserve it. |

| I think it's because we're too comfortable with being an obese country. I don't mean like a little fat, I mean OBESE. We buy too much food. Go to the YMCA america ffs. that's how to fix the debt |

"People who don't have disabilities

More specific please.
>Are fine and can work
People who come out of abusive homes (both adults and children) are pretty able to work, but they don't have shelter, food etc. Are these people ineligible for welfare? |

If they're paid 2 weeks after starting that's 2 weeks of no cash.
That is, if they can find a job if they smell of homelessness. |

| What about people who live in extreme poverty, where the jobs which are available are scarcely available and aren't sustainable |

You need to realize people come from other countries
Start with nothing and get up there a bit to be stable
You don't need to own rich parents or anything |

My main thing is that they MUST show evidence that they are actively looking for a job to be on welfare
have it be on a time period
only give it to those who really need it. |

Move to places that does have a job then
There are jobs everywhere
People just don't look enough or they say "gee welfare is holding me up pretty good, I'll just stick with it and say I haven't found a job yet" |

@Zeus
Which can be abused, such as now I'm pretty sure you don't have to have a job to be on welfare anymore. |

| FruitsZ is absolutely right. Do you realize anyone with a disability claim can apply for welfare. It's that easy. |

Homeless children can't work because they have no guardian to sign wavers and what not/legal documents.
There are people and places where circumstances aren't ideal, and legitimately need welfare because the jobs they have cannot pay for minimal shelter, food, clothing, etc.
Although trying to force people to work by cutting them off, whether they truly need it or not is bound to cause turmoil. And if it's only people with disabilities who get welfare, then that just increases the amount of people who are going to protest and revolt

@2uo, are you trying to justify people abusing welfare rn? lmao
He's saying that there are people well and able that COULD work but they are too fat and lazy to get off of their asses |

Homeless kids can't sign up for welfare...
Also they would most likely either be adopted or be at a adoption home, not all of them are on the streets dude. |

Oh yeah I agree with that. But that's not what he's saying with his 'solution'.
"everyone who doesn't have a disability" is what he portrayed it as as if the only kinds of people who use welfare are those with and without disabilities.
Which is why I said what I said in my first post, in the first place. |
