Groups were better in general back then, Now it's infested with fashion groups and all sorts of garbage to attract 6 year old's.
Clans are just to boost the owners ego to feel more powerful, In reality there useless. |

Group leaders were less concerned about winning, they just wanted to have a good time.
Which is the way it should be. |

Everyone had universally agreed on war terms except for the win condition.
Clans were filled with new players and loyal members rather than people from the same pool of 100 forumers/RCLers.
Clans were more creative with their forts. Ironically, there are more tools than ever right now to make good forts, but they all feel the same. |

More people actually had a personality rather than just "i beet u becuz ur base unfair!!!!" "ur clan is bad lolololol!!!!"
There's no interest in the clan world any more.
Logic requires an understanding. |

| It wasn't better in terms of the average fighter, gun fighting is a good example of that, the average gun fighter now is a TON better then the average gun fighter a few years back. However, a lot more patrolling happened, less terms/rules, more raiding/defending. |

"Group leaders were less concerned about winning, they just wanted to have a good time."
This is just blatantly untrue. Clan leaders always were and always will be concerned with winning. Remember RAT vs VAK? RAT made a mistake and banned a VAK fighter then VAK up and left the server. RAT was losing in raid wins and insisted on a final battle. I can probably count on one hand the amount of relevant wars that had a mutually agreed upon winner before the year 2013. |

| The difference with wins was the fact even with auto wins, wars were still more fun because they lasted longer and they usually had some re-wars or more fighting after the fact. Now it's pretty hard to just get a raid going. xd |

| That's also true, what Tasha said. Before, you could have a raid 20 raiders vs 5 defenders and they would just play it out. Now, clans will whine if they don't have 10 defenders already in the server before you raid, while at the same time refusing to have active patrols. |

| Another big issue now a days is the server size. I've noticed a lot of gun clans have 22-28 person servers and have like 8 required defenders, back then it was usually 25-30. Patrolling as I said was also a big thing. |

| Clan's had a different feel so to say. They were fun in my opinion a complete opposite from today's clans when leaders seem to harass you to go to their "trainings" which are useless obbys, and "meetings" that center around highranks and not the general crowd. |
