It has been known for some time now, that the combat system in Wizardry II is far from perfect. After some brainstorming we came up with an idea to make it potentially better.
When you attack a fellow student in Wizardry, you will be skulled. This skull thus indicates that you initiated a fight and marks you as being potentially dangerous. But this isn’t just a visual indicator, whilst you are skulled, you WILL NOT be protected by roleplaying zones.
Note that, if you retaliate, you will not be skulled. If you are skulled, the skull will disappear after an amount if time, provided you are not aggressive during this period of time.
Again, this is just an idea. I would like to receive some feedback on this idea, as I’d really like to improve the combat system in the game. |

Bad idea, it would destroy dueling. If you duel somebody then everyone will kill you when they see the skull and they'll say ''it's not rking, he's baaaad''. Please don't add this. |

I support that idea, but if you add that, please add how it works into the joining screen (Where it says: BT Productions: Join Game.) so people understand and don't random kill the skulled person because they believe (s)he is bad.
Also, instead of skulls you could use dots, less aggressive thank the skulls.
And when the person starts getting less and less dangerous, the skull (or dot, if you take on my advice) will get gradually smaller. |

Adding on HonestlyCandors idea; Instead of size maybe change from a Red and fade into a white/green over time (and then vanish).

| Don't use a skull (too easily connotated with evil, just put a sword to indicate combat. Maybe put a red sword on the person who started it and blue sword on players who are responding. Also I think rp Zones should be disabled for 10 seconds after the last time you hit someone, meaning a person who got hit can still use rp zones, but it is disabled if they strike back. |

| One Issue, Then If You Decide to Duel A Friend, And You Win, Your Skulled. Perhaps There Can Be Also A Dueling System, Where you Challenge Someone and It Would Either Prevent them from Dying, And you'd Win, Or You'd Kill Them And NOT Get Skulled. |

Love it. 5 stars. Only one issue, how does it know if you retaliated or not? Is it if you are aiming at a skulled player or how? That is my only issue. Still a great idea.

I honestly think this is a good idea and a bad one.
Good) It would allow players to avoid the aggressive ones making it harder for people to RA/RK It would add a whole new aspect to the game
Bad) It would allow other players an excuse to kill the ones that are "aggressive" meaning more RAing and RKing which for you would be bad for business
But the good my outweigh the bad but honestly this is a creators choice for me. |

Another problem would be misfiring, causing you to be skulled (or the other ideas) when it was unintentional.
I believe that some vital roleplay places still should remain RP only, or create three servers, the version now (with the rp zones and non-rp zones), the RP only version and the 'duelling server?' |
