I've just got an idea of something, but I don't know what kind of setting I want it in. I call it Transmugic, and yes, it sounds like a stupid name. I'll be completely honest, I got this idea when I was thinking about FMA.
What Transmugic does is it increases what is already in existence, such as rock or heat. Transmugic could be used to create a mountain out of a single pebble. The easiest thing to create with Transmugic is fire- all one does is increase the heat and amount of energy in an area, or causing a chemical reaction to produce and sustain a flame. Transmugic can be used to do anything that magic can, other than summoning creatures or altering time and space.
However, there has always been a single most sought after goal among Transmugists, and that is Full Resurrection. Not just reanimating the body, but restoring and reviving the mind, body, and soul.
So far, all that has been done is the reanimation or restoration of the body- a new mind is created when restoration occurs.
The closest that any Transmugist has come to restoring the soul is known as Biotransmugic. Biotransmugic is used to alter life, and products of Biotransmugic are known as Homunculi. (Singular: Homunculus) Biotransmugic can be used to create almost any sort of new creature.
Seriously, I really like this concept. What type of setting should I use it in? A simple medieval setting, or more FMA-type setting? |

I would join if it was either in a modern or futuristic setting.
Either would be good for me. |

Ok, one vote for modern or futuristic.
Anyone else? I've decided the name of the world- Lanvaldear. |

| I could do it like FMA's time period- I believe it's set in early 1900s. I feel that that time period would make for a better setting for this than modern. Futuristic would still work, however. |

Rock, your ominous youtube link is not amusing. Besides, you might actually like FMA. It's pretty good...

Looks cool,
Also, is this an anime or something? Fullmetal Alchemist?
I'm just guessing, I don't watch anime.

First thing that came to mind. We definitely don't need more than one Rockmax walking around, just the one is hard enough to manage as it is.

No. This isn't alchemy, this is Transmugic. There's a difference.
