Latin, although extremely common, is often used because people used to actually write spells in Latin. Shocking, isn't it? But depending on where your rp is set (assuming it's on Earth) or the background behind might make another language a better choice. So while European wizards might use Latin, a runecaster from Scandinavia might use Old Norse.
And if you're really dedicated, you might take the time to use an Enochian online dictionary. Just be warned that some lead to extreme religious sites, which might make your Internet history look a little odd.
Of course, if you don't want to go the language route, there are several generators that can come up with meaningless, cool-sounding words with the click of a button. |
