Well, a lot actually.
1. LPPs would drastically change the values of items.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION?
Bring back the actual LPPs! Force people to sell their items back to Roblox instead of being able to put stuff up for 1 robuck and bot it back to themselves. It would make it very difficult and expensive to manipulate an item.
2. It wouldn't take the demand of an item into account. We would have to be able to differentiate between items that are exchanged frequently and ones that aren't.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION?
A function would have to be established that would demonstrate the relationship between frequency of trading and value increase. It should be something as simple as Y = MX + B.
What about rares though? They don't get traded frequently, but does that mean they should all lose demand because of that? Of course not! We have to solve this by coming up with a formula to determine approximately how many owners are still actively trading an item. It would look something like this:
(AMOUNT OF OWNERS STILL ACTIVE) = (ORIGINAL STOCK) - (MONTHS PAST RELEASE)(PERCENT OF TOTAL GOING INACTIVE EACH MONTH)
This would determine how frequently an item should be traded based upon its rarity. This gives rare items a little handicap when assessing "demand"

I can't think of anymore. That's where you all come in! Is there any major flaw that I missed? If not, I could seriously begin working on a much-improved formula for this. |

Maybe add some kind of movie to this presentation and a popcorn machine so I can kind of pay attention.
but honestly I think if an item sells for 1 or even a really low price to what the rap is it shouldn't affect the rap
or maybe you can only sell it for like 10% of the rap so then people who lpp items if they want to really lower the price of something will end up losing money rather than selling it for 1r$ back and forth losing nothing
