everyone has the right to marry the opposite gender nobody had the right to marry the same gender therefore it was equal
but now that it is legalized worldwide there is equality with lgbt peoples it is peoples rights to refuse services to anybody unless they are in government positions
say it with me
it is peoples rights to refuse services to anybody unless they are in government positions
if i went into someones store dressed up in SS getup or wearing a white hood they can refuse me service and that is OK
i can be refused a job or entrance into university because of my political beliefs
daily reminder that THESE PEOPLE INCLUDING TRANS HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS AS EVERYONE ELSE EVERYBODY WITH MALE PARTS USE THE MALES RESTROOM EVERYBODY WITH FEMALE PARTS USE THE FEMALES RESTROOM YOU DO NOT URINATE USING YOUR FEELINGS
EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TURN YOU DOWN UNLESS THEY ARE IN A POLITICAL POSITION EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TURN YOU DOWN UNLESS THEY ARE IN A POLITICAL POSITION EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TURN YOU DOWN UNLESS THEY ARE IN A POLITICAL POSITION EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TURN YOU DOWN UNLESS THEY ARE IN A POLITICAL POSITION

if this was the case then southern states can refuse to hire african americans, in which some colonies do wise to,
it would just lead to discrimination. |

There are civil rights for a reason.
"equal rights" also means equal oppertunities, you cannot discriminate your customers or who you specifically hire,
You don't want to go back to lazi faire capitalism do you? no worker unions, no laws, nothing regulating |

Its not your right to discriminate / refuse service to anything EVEN IF YOU ARENT IN A GOVERNMENT POSITION.
This is under the Civil Rights Act, and seriously? every first world country has this, the countries that don't, don't have a good humans rights efforts

@1GR33
Answer me this then: If my religion prohibited me from serving black people, would you still support me? No, I would be fined or possibly even arrested for violating the Civil Rights Act, and rightfully so.

you are allowed to worship your fate off duty on work, but for example on the news, a muslim flight attendent didn't want to handle alcholol because of her religion, she needs a new job because she can't function some of the key roles in your job.
there's a different between discrimination and gaining benefit from it |

@1GR33N
really well said. i remember an article about a bakery refusing to make a cake for a g@y couple and he was brought to court and ruled guilty of "discrimination" that, to me, is unconstitutional. the first amendment is the freedom of religion(expression), and he didn't see it as a proper thing, as it was against his religion. it really urks me that there's so much support on one side of the spectrum and barely any on the other

I'll ask this again:
If my religion prohibited me from serving black people, would you still support me?

Also, where does relgious freedom reach its limit? It's mandated in the Bible that adulterers be stoned to death. So if that kind of thing began happening, would you still believe that they shouldn't be arrested because of their religious freedom? How far are you willing to go with religious freedom?

You are using that amendament wrong.
That amendment lets you practice your own religion in your own private time. Not to discriminate against others.
And thats not how the consitution works and you know it.
Otherwise there would still be segregation in the southern states because they said it was "my religious freedom" to keep slaves and segregrate them.
The Civil Rights Act IS apart of the bill of rights ruling of law |

| The entire United States is covered by the Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination by privately owned places of public accommodation on the basis of race, color, religion, preference or national origin. Places of “public accommodation” include hotels, restaurants, theaters, banks, health clubs and stores. Nonprofit organizations such as churches are generally exempt from the law. |
