[Official Thread from the VS Department of Events]
>PREFACE:
Acting as the flagship program of the Vortex Security: Department of Events, the VS Quality Games Society (QGS) is a new approach to games at a time when developers are creating increasingly beautiful, brilliant games throughout ROBLOX. (Note: This program was inspired by the now-defunct Quality Games Society group founded by mattchewy, of which I was a member many years ago.)
>INTENTIONS:
The purpose of the program is to formalise ‘events’ within the group and simultaneously give back to the community of which we are a parts. There are three main aims of the QGS:
1) Provide a curated selection of high-quality and varied games for VS members to discover and enjoy.
2) Implement a more organised way in which to conduct game nights within VS.
3) Support developers in the community, particularly those who are more niche and have less exposure – there is an abundance of high-quality creations on ROBLOX, and many of them go relatively unappreciated.
>THE HUB:
The focal point of this program will be the QGS Hub, located in an ancient Kytheriian temple repurposed to act as a centre from which to access places from the community.

Here, VS members will find four panels, each one teleporting you to a different place when clicked.
The hub will be regularly updates with interesting creations, be they atmospheric showcases or fun team-based games. There is no restriction on the sort of places that will be endorsed.
Most, though by no means all, VS Game Nights will be hosted here. Group members can visit the hub at any time to check out the games currently featured. All Colonels+ have admin at the hub.
>CHOOSING GAMES:
Although the goal is to support places/developers that are relatively unknown, it is not a requirement. Indeed, on many occasions, games that are already very popular might be chosen. However, primarily the places chosen will have under 15 000 visits and hopefully be from developers who have not broken into the mainstream of ROBLOX yet.
Creations from members of VS are no more likely to be chosen than any others: the only requirement is that the game is of a high standard and is preferably one that deserves some more appreciation than it has already received.
*ANYBODY* can recommend a place to be featured in the VS QGS. Just sent the Head of Events (at time of writing, GrimmReaper7) a message with a link to the place and a brief description of why you think the place is of a high quality. Places may be featured at the hub for as short as a week or as long as a month. In addition to this, permanent teleports may be added to access places of special importance, namely official Vortex Security places.
Discussion about which QGS-curated places are your favourite (and why), game features, interesting tips/discoveries etc. IS PERMITTED on the VS wall. Engaging the entire community in discussion of quality creation is not something we should shy away from, so please feel free to hold conversations on the group wall on such topics.
>CONCLUSION:
Ultimately, this is about a group as large as Vortex Security having fun while also supporting creators in the wider ROBLOX community. If you have any queries, do not hesitate to contact me. I read all messages and respond in a reasonable timeframe. Thanks for reading.
~Lieutenant General GrimmReaper7, Head of Events
