| Only 5 games and no character customization? Pfff, yeah, count me out. Oh well, I don't even havce an XBOne anyway, so I guess I really shouldn't be caring too much... |

| Ok, so still, 20 games out of what, thousands? Still not enough. Why port the entire engine over of you're only going to allow people to play just a few games? Why not just make a completely different version? The mobile ROBLOX can play all games right out of the box as long as the game maker allows it. Whether or not the game plays nicely with touch controls is a whole nother issue though... |

| @J You do realize the MOBILE version started out with only a variety of games. Most of the games would GET XBOX support sooner or later you really need to think about that |

look at it this way nobody wants to play roblox on xbox one to walk around in a baseplate
this is roblox's way of trying to convince people that they are a true, powerful game-creation platform - hosting fully fleshed-out games accomplishes this. it'll be up to developers to incorporate xbox one support if they want to make their content closer to triple-A titles. |

Top kek. A Roblox game being close to a AAA title? Hahah, that's the funniest thing I've read all day so far. Even if you COULD get it close, it would take FAR more work than should be necessary due to how many limitations the roblox developers force on you... |

i understand your skepticism, as a matter of fact i think the admins are overestimating the power of their engine anyway. i'm only bringing up that point because it's just what their overzealous minds are thinking.
they are trying to follow the success of minecraft and then terraria. if this is somehow the admins' attempt to become modern i certainly hope they're thinking about adopting more to their game than just another type of controller. |

They still need to prove themselves to many ROBLOXians on PC. I don't understand why they would move some of their attention to xBox One when Load/Save breaks nearly daily, Servers doesn't load, Chat breaks and many more things. |

| Well, I can think of some hacky workarounds to a few of the limitations at least. Like, last week, I was thinking about CSG parts, right, and I thought, hmmmm, maybe someone could write a program to convert a 3D model from, say, Wavefront OBJ, into a series of CSG parts that are then baked into a single model file, that you could then texture, combine with other models, etc, in Roblox Studio... I mean, there's a Roblox-model-to-OBJ function in Studio, so all it would take is a little reverse engineering of that to figure out how roblox converts from one format to another, and then replicate it the other way around... and that would be 3d mesh uploading solved. |

| But there are a lot of other things that are sort of out of your control, like terrible netcode issues causing lag, clipping, etc, messed up chat, performance optimization (let's face it, lua isn't the fastest language around, and the roblox engine itself isn't much better), etc. |
