Moron: "THERES NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH ITS NOT FREE THE MONEY COMES FROM SOMEWHERE IDIOT!"
Me: "Oh wow, what an amazing insight! I never knew that! /s"
Seriously people, stop it. You're not brilliant by saying that.
Everyone knows "free healthcare" doesn't mean it costs nothing. The "free" means it's already paid for by your taxes. Like roads are free. You don't pay tolls on the road. You can point to the fact that they're paid for by taxes but everyone knows they are paid for by taxes. It's just a figure of speech. |

Americans work longer hours than any other country on the planet.
You're just a moron who buys into the conservative propaganda that Americans are all lazy and just want everything for free.
The truth is, most Americans are not stupid like you. They realize that you don't get rich simply by "trying hard enough". The system doesn't work that way. They try their best and work as hard as they can but still do not earn enough to provide for their healthcare.
Every other first-world country has implemented this, the US is far behind.

Lmao nice ad hominem. You need to work on polishing your debate skills... and social skills... and people skills.
"The truth is, most Americans are not stupid like you."
Ad hominem #2
"They realize that you don't get rich simply by "trying hard enough". The system doesn't work that way. They try their best and work as hard as they can but still do not earn enough to provide for their healthcare."
You may not get rich by striving for success, but you can at least afford a decent, modest living. Personally, I think socialists are the crazy ones. A perfect society where everyone lives with the luxuries of a Kardashian? Sorry, that's not going to happen- not in this world.
"Every other first-world country has implemented this, the US is far behind."
The costs of living are also higher in these other first-world countries, like Sweden.

Please, define "ad hominem" for me. You clearly don't know what an ad hominem even is. -.-
>"You may not get rich by striving for success, but you can at least afford a decent, modest living."
You just keep on living in your little fantasy world where that is true.
>"Personally, I think socialists are the crazy ones. A perfect society where everyone lives with the luxuries of a Kardashian? Sorry, that's not going to happen- not in this world."
Since you've brought up (incorrectly) a logical fallacy, I'll point one out here myself.
Strawwwww mannnnn.
>"The costs of living are also higher in these other first-world countries, like Sweden."
No. That is simply factually incorrect and you pulled that out of your ass. You only pay more taxes, but the cost of living is significantly cheaper because you don't have to directly pay for college, healthcare, and many other government provided programs.
Most Americans are either incredibly impoverished because they never went to college, or they are in huge student loan debt. |

@Dominos
Again, you're misusing logical fallacies.
The fallacy fallacy is when you say a person's claim is false because they used a logical fallacy. This isn't necessarily true because sometimes a person could simply fail to articulate the point.
I never even came close to stating that. So again, you utterly misused the term. |

You're a moron.
And no, this is not a personal attack. This is a constructive response that contributes significantly to my argument.
"You just keep on living in your little fantasy world where that is true."
As long as you remain in yours.

"No. That is simply factually incorrect and you pulled that out of your ass. You only pay more taxes, but the cost of living is significantly cheaper because you don't have to directly pay for college, healthcare, and many other government provided programs."
If you say so. But I've read that the costs of living are significantly higher in democratic-socialist countries like Sweden.

Well, okay then. That's not an ad hominem either, so what's your point?
>"As long as you remain in yours."
"I NO WAT U R BUT WAT AM I?!"
Seriously, could you at least be more creative with your insults?
>"Straw man > ad hominem"
You have demonstrated you do not know what an ad hominem is, and I have yet to commit it once.
>"If you say so. But I've read that the costs of living are significantly higher in democratic-socialist countries like Sweden."
Again, taxes are higher. The cost of living would only be higher for a non-citizen who doesn't benefit from the system.
People in Sweden are not only significantly happier and healthier, but the average family also has a significantly greater income than the average American family.
>"[citation]"
Wait... do I really need a citation that we're facing a huge student loan debt problem and that minimum wage is not enough to survive on?
I will give you those citations if you wish, well, I'll tell you where to find them (because I know you just want me to post links so you can get me banned). But I just am surprised you are so ignorant to how your own country works.

It's your turn to define ad hominem for me.
""I NO WAT U R BUT WAT AM I?!"
Seriously, could you at least be more creative with your insults?"
But it wasn't an insult.
"You have demonstrated you do not know what an ad hominem is, and I have yet to commit it once."
Enlighten me, then.
"Again, taxes are higher. The cost of living would only be higher for a non-citizen who doesn't benefit from the system.
People in Sweden are not only significantly happier and healthier, but the average family also has a significantly greater income than the average American family."
So you're saying these taxes balance the costs of living?
"Wait... do I really need a citation that we're facing a huge student loan debt problem and that minimum wage is not enough to survive on?"
I want a citation that those are the lead causes of poverty.
"I will give you those citations if you wish, well, I'll tell you where to find them (because I know you just want me to post links so you can get me banned). But I just am surprised you are so ignorant to how your own country works."
That wasn't my intention at all. And, no, you're not surprised, you just implemented that sentence to be even more passive-aggressive. |
