Put this script into the Metal Detecting Part;
while true do metals = {game.Workspace.PARTNAME, game.Workspace.PARTNAME} for i = 1,#metals do if (i.Position - script.Parent.Position).magnitude <= 2 then gui = Instance.new("ScreenGui", script.Parent.Parent.Parent.PlayerGui) label = Instance.new("TextLabel", gui) label.Size = UDim2.new(0.2,0,0.2,0) label.Position = UDim2.new(0.25,0,0.25,0) label.BackgroundTransparency = 1 label.Text = "Metal Detected! It is within 2 studs of you!" wait(3) label:Destroy() end end end |

| If you'd actually read my post, I wasn't requesting anything to be built for me. |

| I think you could use Raycasting to find out what is below the Metal Detector? I'm not certain if that's the most efficient way, but it would definitely suffice. |

JWho. If you need a summary of how to use RayCasting, you can look here.
http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=Raycasting
You can use it to detect an object below you and check what material it is. |

| The buttons in the screen should be big enough to not misspell a word, it may be hard if your chubby, though. |

@LilMcManiac;
It doesn't seem to work like that, is there any other way? |
