| Edit. Part of this trash was F3X but I found F3X to be a waste of time for Studio building so I switched to qcmdutl. |

Trying to build generic maps for games.
It's not going well.
If I could just build on a semi-half-decent level quickly I'd be able to release a game everyday with a bit of time spent. |

well i actually recommend using f3x in build mode because you get a better idea as if you were playing the game

| Yeah well in anything but Studio maybe it's better, but having to select with Control + D again is not good, and half the stuff is useless because you have the properties window in Studio. |

yeah that doesn't matter just use a scale and you're not missing out on anything
use cartoony and blocky styles, they're a lot easier |

and if you wanna make a building with windows and doors and stuff, make sure you make holes for them, like this

| ah so I just put a bunch of bricks in front of the main building brick centered around negative space (blank areas) for windows |
