There are 3 levels of a Lock down, but first lets discuss why a Lock Down would be called:
If there is a riot (Mass RK, Inmates disobeying all orders from CO's/ERT's, mass escaping, too many fights to contain, Inmates specifically rebelling against Correctional Officers or Emergency Response Team members). All Lock Downs end when the admin decides it is safe to end it, or the rioting has stopped fully.

Level 1 Lock Down-
A "Level 1 Lock Down" is a simple Lock Down, All Inmates should be moved to the cafeteria wall, Prison staff are permitted to help, but if they attack anyone they should be moved to SC. If a Inmate kills on the wall a Admin will usually ban them, or CO's/ERT's will move them to SC.

Level 2 Lock Down-
A "Level 2 Lock Down" is a step up from a Level 1 Lock Down and is called when Inmates are rebelling against CO's and ERT's and are killing each other on the wall, fighting or running away in a amount that is too big for Admins/CO's/ERT's to contain, is a Level 2 Lock Down is called CO's will be given M4 Assault Rifles and both ERT's and CO's should be given a health boost to implement armor. All Inmates/Prison Staff are to be put on the wall.

Level 3 Lock Down-
A "Level 3 Lock Down" is a step up from a Level 2 Lock Down and is called when Inmates rebel against the CO's/ERT's even when given more health and M4 Assault Rifles. During a Level 3 Lock Down all Inmates/Prison Staff are to move to cells, preferably 1 per cell, if not possible, 2 per cell. If a Inmates/Prison Staff is to kill another inmate in a cell a Admin should ban them, if no admin is present to ban them and is doing something else, you should move them to SC. If Inmates/Death Row Inmates/Prison Staff are refusing to move to cells, you have all rights to shoot them, if they do any attempt to fight back, you have permission to shoot them. At least 2-3 CO's/ERT's are to be patrolling the yard during a Level 3 Lock Down and doors at the Cafeteria Doorway and Cell Area doorway should be left open for easy Inmate transport.

Important Notices:
- If an Inmate/Death Row/Prison Staff is following orders you have no right to shoot them, if you do it will be considered abuse.

- If anyone is being detained you are not to shoot them, there is no way they can break out of detain and shooting them while they are detained will also be considered abuse.

- During a Lock Down CO's are to stay inside the prison, if someone has escaped the prison a HR can assemble a team of ERT's or CO's of their choice to go hunt down escapees.

- No matter how convenient it is, godding people is highly unrealistic and we are running a role play, so please refrain from godding anyone.

- You should not prolong Lock Downs without a valid reason as this may agitate Inmates and make them even more angry.

- Despite CO's/ERT's being permitted to use guns, it really shouldn't be used excessively. In Lock Downs you are permitted to shoot people who you feel are a threat, but please do not abuse this.

- Random Killers better well known as "RKers" can be banned during Lock Downs, but this is only for extreme cases such as killing everyone on the wall that are lined up or glitching out of SC. If they are rioting in the yard and just killing people who have refused to get on the wall, there really is no reason to ban them as it is the CO's/ERT's job to take care of that, not an admin.

- During any level if an Admin is planning to ban people for mass RK/Killing in cells, the admin should first use the :m or :sm to warn everyone that performing such act may lead to a ban.

- Just because it may not be stated in the level of Lock Downs, permissions given to CO's/ERT's still transfers, such as a Level 2 Lock Down is moved to a Level 3 Lock Down, it is not stated in a Level 3 Lock Down that CO's have Armor, but as it was given to them in a lower level of a Lock Down it should be given to them in a higher level of a Lock Down.

- If the Admin has to leave and there is no other Admin or Major to take Temp Admin the admin should call off the Lock Down, even if the situation is bad, as doing Lock Downs without Admins is pretty hard.

- Music during Lock Downs are not be tolerated, Admins have full rights to remove anyone's tools who refuse to stop playing music if asked.

- Please do not hang around Admins, during a Lock Down any level it is crucial that everyone is doing there job and not slacking off.
