seriously
the real definition of exploit is "to take advantage of"
so when someone says "server got exploited" its basically saying "the server was taken advantage of"
its proper english kids |

It's correct because it's done by taking advantage of, technically, the way roblox is coded with (usually) 3rd party programs.
Using the term "hacking" would technically be incorrect in the case of server-side exploitation of roblox, but exploiting also applies to place-stealing. |

Why would you make a thread ABOUT proper English and how people always get it wrong when you're in the same boat.

No, saying the "server was exploited" is correct. The reasoning to this, is someone is taking advantage of the easy accessibility of the client-server model, that's exactly how you defined exploit. |

Exploit: to use selfishly for one's own ends:
Divine is right, so not only is your English generally bad, but your whole post is flawed anyhow.

why is this thread continuing i thought it was done a while ago(not trying to worm my way out of an argument so dont assume)
and i'd rather hear someone say "someone glitched" than "someone exploited" because from what ive been taught in school "someone glitched" would be more correct |

| Glitched and exploited are basically synonyms, doesn't really matter but sorry if I didn't realize the argument ended! |
